I started back on Keto on 4/7 and have lost 12pbs since. I’m not one of the lucky ones that Keto just makes the weight fall off. I STRUGGLE to get 3lbs per week, even being over 100lbs overweight so I’m happy with my progress so far.
I’ve already had 2 slip ups this month with the artificial sweeteners, but overall it’s going well.

Minor set back. at the end of April I was 205.4...though i got 3 different numbers then so I went with the lowest.
Still having trouble with sweets/candy, I know its more of a mind game right now. I am craving Peanut Butter M&M's constantly and its driving me crazy. but i will get back to it. Just have to take one day at a time and not get down on my self.
Why not add into your carbs a small amount of peanut butter. There are some that are quite low carb and if you put the butter in a small (very small!) pot and eat slowly with a tea spoon it might help the cravings as you will be cutting out the chocolate but it still feels like a treat. That's what I do when I want something as an extra. Good luck!1 -

3 pounds per week is a fantastic weight loss! You've done well. Just remember it wasn't a week or two to gain the weight and it's not a week or two to loose it (very unfortunately!!)0 -
Happy Cinco de Mayo! This has been a pretty rough week for me. My AI symptoms have been flaring up, so my eating has been a little off. On the plus side, two of my goals were to consistently log my meals and drink at least 64 oz of water and I did! This week I would like to add better self-care and working on getting my steps in. I wish everyone a great and productive next week!

After losing 15.4 pounds in Jan/Feb, I gained 18.2 in Mar/Apr. Not a good start for the first one third of 2019. To be brutally honest, I have not been in ketosis since I went on vacation back at the end of Feb. I’ve been telling myself I’ll start being keto clean tomorrow for over two months now.
In fact, I was only keto clean 3 of the first 5 Days of May. Unfortunately, 3/5 is the best I’ve done for months now. So, here’s my baby step plan. I’m going to shoot for 1 whole week of keto clean, starting yesterday, Sunday our weigh-in day. To hold me accountable, I will report my results to all of you next Sunday.

My first challenge in this group. Have been doing keto off and on for about 18 months. Not anywhere close to my ultimate goal. I live abroad (from my home country, anyway), and every time I go home for a visit, I gain weight, then have a hard time getting back on the wagon. I went home during the Christmas holiday for 5 weeks and gained 20 lbs!!! After I had just lost 50! Ugh. I'm back in the keto saddle as of Sunday, so I decided to join a challenge to hopefully help me feel more accountable! I have 60 days before I go home again, and not only do I want to be thinner/healthier, I also want to stay on track as much as I can while home. I'll be home for 7 weeks this time. Eek.

You are so right; I do know what to do! That is what frustrates me so. I’ve done it before when I didn’t really fully know or appreciate what keto can do. I’ve experienced weight loss success and wonderful non scale victories. Why I keep sabotaging my efforts confounds me. Anyway, thanks for the support. I’m taking it one day, one week, one moth at a time. With the help of good friends, like you, I’ll be back.

On April 28, 2018, I weighed in at 156.8 pounds by losing over 50 pounds in the first 4 months of 2018. I changed from an obese, prediabetic, unhealthy and unhappy person into a healthy, fit and fun loving 68-year-old.
Flash forward to April 28, 2019, I weighed in at 190.2. I’m much healthier than I was back in 2018 when I weighed 209.6. However, I’m back in the obese range and not near as fit as I was when I weighed 156.8. Anyway, China and all my friends on MFP, I want to get back to how I felt in April of 2018.
Keto has been good to me. It has been way more than weight loss. My joints, hair, skin, mood and so many other non-scale attributes change for the better when I adhere to keto. So, I’m cranking up my Way Back Machine and heading back to where I was a year ago.

Hoping to break into the 150's by the end of this month.
Late posting but I survived a stressful week at work where I would normally eat to sooth myself at night while watching TV. I decided to gulp a huge bottle of water every time I felt like reaching for the chips or ice cream. my stomach was so full and bloated that it did the trick and I actually didn't binge eat. Stress is definitely my trigger and I passed the test. Still carrying a little water weight from the experience but I am so proud of myself.

No weight loss this week, no gain either. But I definitely went off program and had way too much sugar. I really need to find more simple and easy recipes for meal because I'm getting tired of the same old thing.

Great week for me! I managed to stay keto clean for an entire week despite the fact I attended several non-keto friendly events. I’ve settled back to an 18/6 fasting and eating cycle. Obviously the one-week weight loss of 6.4 pounds was my body shedding water as I become fat adapted. However, the weight loss is only a side effect of returning to ketosis.
The energy, focus and attitude I get when I’m in ketosis has returned. And, the NSV I most enjoyed this week; I’ve gained back 4 pair of jeans I couldn’t button just 2 weeks ago.

Scale was up and down this week a pound or so even though my eating was on plan. That was the first week since starting keto that it wasn't daily moving downward or holding steady.

Good week overall. I even stayed Keto yesterday when celebrating MD but had a few glasses of wine which generally causes a temporary gain, so I was pleasantly surprised this morning to see that I’m still showing a loss for this week.
I’m really trying to get motivated to start working out, because besides the weight, I know I’m just super out of shape. I get winded just walking up a flight of stairs. I’d like to get back to the point of being cardiovascularly healthy, but what I’m really hoping is to someday be able to run again, I really miss it.
