    The May Apple is a shade loving woodland flower which blooms in the spring. We have patches of these growing wild in our forest.

    Trilliums are blossoming right now (Ontario’s flower).
    Thank you for sharing the image of a Trillium. Haven't seen one in years. I can remember picking them in the woods as a young child (a long, LONG time ago) and taking them to my grandmother on May Day. There are six species of protected Trilliums in NYS, so can no longer be picked. Your pic brought back long ago faded memories!
