Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? 57 minutes of strength training this morning, and an almost 1.5 mile walk this evening. Plus I'll be playing darts tonight for an hour before karaoke!
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes and under
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yep!
@jan110144 and @craigo3154, great questions! I love these questions as they help us all get to know each other, especially since a lot of us are the same people back month after month.4 -
Yes x 3 today, although exercise was gentle again because I’m still sick.
I’ve left posting too late again. Will have yo catch up tomorrow.5 -

I'm back in the saddle both figuratively and literally. This was my first day back since my son's wedding last week, to tracking my intakes. It was also the first day in 2019 that I rode a horse. Great day out on the farm!
Exercise: I was in movement from 2pm until 4:30 pm. Working with the horses and lots of walking while working in a sand based horse arena.
Tracking: good
Calories: well under my limit7 -

10 in 20 on track? YES for Day 9 of 20. Dropped 7.4 lbs so far, but yesterday was 8.6 lbs - I gained a bit back after two days w/ no exercise
Hydration? YES
Supplements? YES
Sleep? FAIL but slightly better.
BP monitoring - Never figured out why it spiked, but it's coming back down - actually up/down/up/down, but moving in the right direction. Bought a new cuff & monitor. I don't really think that was the problem but we'll see.
Bragging rights: two days in a row I skipped exercising. I let a busy schedule derail me. Exercising is a brand new habit and my grasp on it is fragile. It's not surprising then, that yesterday morning I didn't even remember exercise when putting together my mental list for the day. I had an errand I wanted to get out of the way right away, so got up, dressed & headed for the door. Then remembered... "drat, I was supposed to exercise. Oh well, I can do it when I get home." Hand on doorknob, I stopped, battled with myself, and finally admitted that if didn't get it out of the way first thing, the busyness of the day would crowd it out. I headed back, changed clothes, and got to it. I'm so proud of myself I think I may have sprained my arm patting myself on my back6 -
3 X’s Yes
Great one hour strength class and 4 hours of gardening. Right up to my limit on calories with no exercise eat backs.
So many great questions.
Why MFP?
It started pretty simple, I needed a tool to log and track my food. I had no idea that I would find a supportive community as well.
It also turns out that the process of losing weight is kind of all encompassing and that must people in real life don’t want to hear about it everyday. But you can post in MFP when ever you want!
The initial weight lose excitement died down and I needed a realistic life long plan. I joined UAC and a 5lbs per month challenge (biggest advice- have realistic goals).
I tell everyone who asks how I’m going this, track your calories and move more.3 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Non traditional exercise of finishing the aquarium stand and aquarium. Oil based paint and I do not get along. Today I get to put it all together but I have to move some boxes and go to the hardware store for an attachment for my faucet.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? I was well under
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? I did on food but I need to do better on logging my water.

Possible Discussion Questions:
Now that you were thinner what is the thing you were most grateful for?
What has been the most difficult habit for you to change and how did you do it?
Are you anxious about me gaining your weight loss and if so how are you dealing with that?
If you’ve maintained your weight what are the three most important things that help you do that?
How has your relationship with exercise changed?
How has your relationship with food changed?
How has your attitude towards self-care changed?
How has your relationship with stress changed?
Ditto for sleep.
What do you wish you had known when you were younger you do now?
What activities do you participate in when you feel like eating but are not really hungry?2 -

Lots of great questions!! I was thinking about how my thought process has changed the other day when I had my 1000 days logged. I thought about celebrating with a mini Coke Classic but I decided against it, too much sugar and carbs😆 I don’t do Keto, but I do try to stay within my macros. One day last month, I had perfect macros at the end of the day and I was all geeked out about it🤓 in a good way!
I started Mfp when I was diagnosed with PCOS. I initially planned to log my food, lose weight and be happy 😂🤣 I ended up making some really great buddies and learning it’s not just about losing weight, it’s about being healthy, fit and happy- it all goes hand in hand.
