Me vs the Binge -- June 2019

Well this challenge is a challenge with yourself. The challenge is for you to win in the fight against "The Binge". Many of us struggle with binging and a few of us have found that making "The Binge" a person has helped us fight the emotions or urge to binge.
The objective of the challenge is to have more days for you (Me) than the "The Binge".
When you have a day you do not succumb to binge urges or binge give yourself (ME) a point. When you give in to the urge to binge you give 'The Binge" a point. No beating yourself up about it because tomorrow is another day. Honesty with yourself is crucial for it to help you and others.
So we keep score with ourselves the whole month. We encourage each other along the way. Please feel free to share your ups, downs, successes, struggles, etc. You will find you are not alone. See below for format. Feel free to use it or use your own format. This Challenge keeps you mindful of binging and the daily support and accountability helps also.
Check in often. The more you check and share the better you will do for the month. So are you in? You are stronger than “The Binge.” One day at a time.

Wow! I haven’t been here in a while! Last few months were really good, I seemed to have kicked binging problem, but this last Friday and Sunday, I seemed to be picking up bad habits again. Last night, I went incredibly overboard and I haven’t really done that since November 2018. So here I am again. I’m picking myself back up, and treating this like a whole new day, a whole new lifestyle and acting like it never even happened.

* Yesterday was FLIPPIN' CLOSE, though. Started on a binge on three separate occasions and yet just about managed to pull it back each time. It was an epic combat, and bards will sing of it in the times to come. Ended up going over by about 500 kcal - but it wasn't 5000

Starting again too! June has sooooo far been hard for me. Thank you guys for keep trying and picking yourselves up after little stumbles because I keep on stumbling and you inspire me every time I see you get back up and push at another day. It’s a new day, a great day! Here’s to making it a great life, one day at a time!

Wow this has been my dirty little secret since I was 14 yrs old I am 44 no one knows. Well til now... I am so glad I found this group and I am not alone. I need to kick this habit ASAP.
