Been working out a little each day this week. Not sure I will get tomorrows done. My right arm is not happy about getting a shingles vaccination. But I can still do cardio.

Kathy I love how you still are doing tennis. Now you can really get into it! No pesky work to slow you down. :p

Worked out w/our trainer yesterday. It's strange the upper body exercises that make the pain in my legs worse. ugh! Only 14 days to go.

    Love you guys!

Started a new round of swimming lessons yesterday. Time to work on strokes and improve kicks. 30 minutes Monday with a new instructor...she’s very good and gives really great positive reinforcements. Since Cabo was postponed I didn’t get a chance to surprise Ron. My plan is to surprise him in on his birthday trip to Amelia Island, FL at the end of July. I have 4 days this week and another week in July. I may try to find another week as well if I can afford it. Swimming lessons are expensive but so worth it!

Oh, Kathy, I just asked you about surprising Ron with your swimming on our other thread!! Too funny! Glad your new instructor is good and you are having a good time.

Getting the boys this morning. We have nothing planned after they are p/u. Easy Tuesday.

Swimming lesson - 30 minutes Tennis coaching drills - 90 minutes

It’s great that I now have time for 2 workouts in one day when needed. Our tennis coach has added in a lot of cardio to our drills. We’re chasing a lot of extra balls.

I have a make up match on Friday because we were rained out last Sunday.

    Awesome ladies.

Kathy this surprise is like the best kept secret ever! I am not sure I could have done it. Come teach me to swim.

Chris hang in there. You are so busy all the time.

I am just walking and light stretching.

Water aerobics - 60 minutes. Cleaned out the garage and did some yard work - planted lillies and Ferber daisies.

Kathy I love daisies. Beautiful! Did you get some new lilies? What type? Great job on the water aerobics!

I walked the kids today. Barney is doing so much better. Long way to go before he is a model citizen.

Kathy do you start over or from where you were forced to quit? I watched a slow pitch game tonight. My friends team won!

We started from where we left off on Sunday. We loss the match 6-4, 6-3 but stayed on court for an additional 30 minutes and hit with the ladies that kicked our butts. They were really nice and we enjoyed the morning temperatures.

Ron is finally feeling much better and keeping his routine going...chiropractor, physical therapy, icing and stretching. He’s determined to be ready for Amelia Island at the end of July. That’s when I’m going to spring the surprise on him. I have another week of swim lessons the second week in July with my favorite instructor. Yes, I’m living retirement!!! No schedule is nice.

Kathy - so glad you are enjoying retirement. It's my favorite thing to do. I'm glad Ron is doing better.

Moving better each day. We walked around the block this morning! Our 5 mile journey is close at hand. I am looking so forward to that and being able to workout w/our trainer and actually sweat. Soon. ;) The incision is starting to itch and make me a crazy woman because I can't really touch it.

    Well, that's it for now.

60 min walk with my bff this morning. We hadn’t walked together in a while. I’ve missed it and so has she. Going to make this a habit again.

Chris - I can tell you’re “chomping at the bit”. :D

Such a busy week at work I definitely am not getting to my five days of working out. But I’ll except three! Another cuppa coffee and off to the gym.

I have been busy on holiday. Since I am feeling so much better after the surgery I am outside catching up on a lot of weeding. And now I am burned. Stupid me!
