Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?

Earlier this month, I asked for your help with some new discussion starter questions.
@craigo3154 offered a number of great ones.
"What do you recommend doing to encourage a loved one or friend to find success in developing healthy habits?"

Thanks for lots of discerning responses!!!
    My day:
Exercise: decided to add an evening treadmill stroll at 3.5 mph for 22 minutes. In the a.m., 37 minutes of very sweaty cardio/strength activities
    Tracking: good
    Calories: way under my limit

Traveling home from a trip. I walk at the Box store, I walk at the rest stop, and possibly some more when I get in.... you get the picture. Of course, It is this challenge that makes me want to put yes beside the 3 questions. I find though that I feel so much better and not quite so stressed when I stop and and walk. It has a tendency to clear your head. Also keeps you alert. That might be one of the most important things. Lol

This question about how to help others hits home. My husband went on a diet and lost 18 pounds pretty fast. Which is a good thing! I think though the main reason he went on his own plan is to prove me wrong... and that's all right. He thinks I'm absolute crazy to be on this program...spending time tracking and posting. I really do hope that his plan is sustainable. But we will see. As has been mentioned a bunch of times I think the only thing you can do is try to be the example and give someone the motivation to do thier own thing. If they want help give it to them but in measured doses... just my 2 cents.

Be the example. Let the journey be theirs. They need to own it.../quote]
    This...succinct and to the point.
