Started low carb eating (Keto) about 10 days ago in an attempt to lose weight and lower A1C. Left Friday for a family weekend away and ate restaurant meals for two days. Returned home last night, weighed in this morning and down 1 lb from Thursday’s official weekly weigh-in. Never before have I returned from a weekend of restaurant eating and not gained at least 2 lbs. Just needed to share because I’m so excited. I discovered that sometimes ordering off the appetizer menu works great for low carb. One meal was smoked whitefish dip (asked them to sub celery sticks for the garlic toast it is usually served wit). It ended up being my favorite meal of the weekend.

    Congrats, you're off to a good start. I eat alot of wings from the appetizer menu!
