Yes x 3 for Tuesday. Prelogging dinner, about to do 1.5 hours of tennis. Proud to not eat these calories back today!
I wish i would have truly understood nutrition, body requirements and the role of exercise. I thought i was healthy but i was SO out of line in so many ways.8 -

That not everyone has the best intentions. There people in the world who can be cruel and mean. But ... there are also amazingly wonderful people. I'd tell my younger self to concentrate on them!8 -

I wish I could have taught myself better nutrition and portion sizes so food wouldn't have always been a struggle. I also wish I could have taught myself to love running at a much younger age.7 -

Mine is similar to RangerRick... people don’t change. I thought once someone became a husband and dad they’d act like one. My parents knew better but who listens to their parents 😅 divorced when our daughter was one I never looked back and I’ve been with a guy going on ten years now who is simply amazing. I’m not sure I measure up but he keeps me around 😁
Ironically had we met way back then we both agree it wouldn’t have worked because he was much more a go getter. His wife was a lawyer he works government - very ladder climby which I’m not. When he became a widower a lot of his life ideas changed too. Now he stops and smells the roses with me.7 -

yes, yes, yes ...
Not all that faithful at posting but I am doing ok at tracking.
Been camping. I like to spend as much summer as I can sleeping in a tent and riding my bike to and fro. I ought to put a camping picture.
This is kind of by a "hut."
They got these huts for distance athletes to stay in when they traverse the mountains so they don't have to carry a lot of stuff. Going hut to hut all you have to carry is a raincoat and water.
Not even water if you are ok drinking out of the creek.
I didn't do the hut trip but I always wanted to.
Eh, to be a shade younger and to have a millimeter or two more on my knee cartilage.

Had a good day today, went for a nice walk on the beach with a couple of girlfriends, did a bit of housework, some food prep for future use and had one of my girlfriends join Bud & I for supper. Awesome day overall! It was also my weigh in day and I was literally laughing out loud as when I stepped on the scales it went blank....lol....I killed it! Found out it was just the battery and I will replace but it was a dream come true as I have wanted to dispose of it lots of times.....lol to funny! Will post my success when I replace the battery!
yes x 3 today
exercise lots
tracking yes
calories well under
What I wish I knew then that I knew now. This is a hard one. I guess it would be to take things more seriously, and to not think this would never happen to me, I was told so many times while playing sports and my walking marathons to look after myself and listen to my body or I would pay for the abuse in future years. Well I am definitely paying for it now. Two bad knees and back. I guess I am not invinceable after all....lol....doing ti over I would do it all over again but definitely do much more stretching before and after and not rush my recoveries
the way I did.
Back to work today, talk soon6 -
I have really enjoyed reading ALL of your replies! Such a thought-filled & wise group!

Took 2-2.5 weeks, but I made the changes I needed to, and the scale came down, and I finally saw my Scream Weight TODAY!!
I’m hoping it stays there - or lower - as tomorrow is my 3 month Maintenance Anniversary.
(Never thought I’d be so happy to see it, but it was much more exciting than the terror I felt when I saw it - suddenly - in the other direction — and then 3.8 lbs came in the next 3 days!!! I do wish we lost - and gained- gradually vs. the jumps & bumps! LOL
Now, 2 more pounds to go to get back my Maintenance Weight!5
