Some are here for one thing and some are here for another.
What is your goal?
The UAC is a place to create and maintain the healthy habits that make your goals achievable.
You will achieve your goals, IF....you value the goal more than your current habits.
Do you believe you are worth it?

I like this one, simple yet very true.
UAC actually, has helped me with those habits; when conflict (with people) arises I used shutdown and say the heck with "it" I'm not doing anything today because I'm annoyed. Recently, I've changed to the heck with "you" I'm going to just do me today.7 -
My goal is to get my health in check because too many people rely on me.☺
Yes x3 for yesterday did yard work with hubby.8 -

Yes! I still struggle with an absolute “I’m worth it” statement. Especially when it comes to time spent on grandkids vs myself (we babysit most days for part of the day). But this winter I was altruistic till I cracked healthwise, and it was a strong reminder that staying healthy is important, as you say, for me to be there for those who rely on me. Looking better is just a bonus.
PS I think the ability to say “I’m worth it” represents good mental health. Maybe someday I’ll get there.3 -
I don't know about any of you, but every now and then I'll look on Pinterest for some motivation. Anyway, today's posts so far have reminded me of two of those pins...

Yes x 3. Walking.
My big goal is to get back down to a healthy BMI. I have a load of mini goals I'm aiming for too and at the moment and setting myself mini weekly targets too. As you can tell, I like to break things down!
Am I worth it? As others have said, this isn't all about me. As a mum of 2 now I need to make sure I'm fit and healthy for them. I don't want to have avoidable weight related illnesses. I want to be fitter and have more energy. I want to be a good role model.8 -

Hi have done the day today: tracked and came under limit and exercised. wasted a meals worth of calories on something frivolous so I'm off to bed hungry- goal the obvious one lose weight I've a lot to lose. I would say I was worth it but then subconsciously perhaps not or I wouldn't have got to such an unhealthy weight in the first place. gotta keep at it!8

To answer the “am I worth it?” question... Damn right I am! Regardless of my kids, my husband, or anyone else that depends on me, living a healthier life is all about me feeling better physically & emotionally. The people around me reap those benefits, but it is all for me. There is no guarantee that they will be part of my every day life forever, but I am stuck with myself in whatever shape I am in.10 -

Yes X’s three! 60 minute full body strength class. Well under on calories.
My health, fitness and well being are 100% worth the work.
My motivation for change was getting married. Not the wedding (that was a tiny casual event) but the year after. I realized that because I met my love later in life, in order to spend decades together we needed to get healthy. I want a 30th and 40th anniversary.
Together we’ve lost 165lbs between us. We also quit smoking and went from drinks every night to drinks once a month.
The best part is that being healthy means we get to really enjoy this life together.
P.S. I can’t lie, it’s also FUN being the hot forty-something. I couldn’t say that 94lbs ago.9 -
