mine is in the mail now, so I have a few quick questions. what is your overall impression? good? bad? how does it compare to other programmes, for example P90x or Chalean Extreme?
I have 2 sets of dumbbells with plates, did you all use selectechs or powerblocks, or is it doable without? what range of weights were you using?

I really loved BB as it showed how to do the lifts like bodybuilders. (You just have to laugh off the comments in the video as it just has men in it.) I did use P90x before and liked it the strength part over the cardio. It is more for general fitness and I think it is good I did it prior. I prefer BB and continue to use the Total body & Lucky 7 DVDs in with other workouts. I had small weight dumbbells so I got Bow Flex SelectTechs adjustable dumbbells up to 90s. It is probably doable without as you say you have the plates. The range of weights is hard to give advise on because it depends on the person's size, age and fitness level. I'm just finishing another strength training program and have only recently been able to lift a lot more. Hence I only needed heavier weights recently.0

Honestly Body Beast is my go to program. I have finished many BB programs but I have found I strive most when I am lifting versus other types of workouts. I stay consistent with my lifting.0
