arm challenge day 4-rest day. leg day instead and 35min on treadmill.
I find as I read everyone's posts each night that you are all so inspiring!!! If it wasn't for UAC I don't think I would be as determined to get my 3 yesses each day. Some days are harder than others, but as I read all these accomplishments it keeps me motivated to do the best I can. Thank you to all!!6 -

Had to navigate food choices today at our staff retreat. Ate fruit for breakfast instead of the fatty muffins. However, at lunch I did sample the appetizers that were purchased for us. However, the entree wasn't good so instead of forcing myself to eat it, I stopped after a few bites. Only afternoon snack available were cookies, but I split one with a colleague. After tracking I know the best decision is to make my own meals. However, I don't want to get too obsessed with calories that I forget to enjoy food. That's why I had the cookie, it looked good and I wanted to try it.6 -

Exercise: Yes, 30 minute walk
Calories: Yes

My walk was while I was waiting at the DMV (department of motor vehicles; I needed to renew my driver's license). Instead of waiting inside, I took a vigorous walk. No way I make that choice if I'm not in this challenge.6 -
@MadDuck62 Great choice!
@lalabank Sack races and parachute games! The quintessential summer activities.
@cj917 Whenever the scales do unexpected things for me I revert to thinking of my weight using my recent diary deficits or overages. In the short term, it’s more accurate.
I’ve got the opposite sitch, my scales dropped too quickly last week. Four times more than my predicted deficit. Which means for the next three weeks, it’s likely that the scales aren’t going to move much despite me eating at a deficit every day. In my case it’s because I ate low carb last week, but I will probably eat more carbs in my diet as the month progresses.3
