It's 11:00 pm in Chicago and I just got home from a two day trip...I'm going to get some sleep.
This weekend, I recommend that you try to get some sleep too. Health and recuperation require adequate sleep.

Back from Alaska. Returned home with the 'plague' that attacked the tour group (I seem to have a mild case, thankfully). I thought I had dodged the bullet, but my 15 hour trip home did me in. Am starting to feel better and hoping to be back to normal within the next few days.
Alaska was just gorgeous. We were fortunate to see lots of wildlife in Denali (moose, caribou, Dahl sheep, grizzly bears (including mom and cub), and a wonderful 20 minute encounter with a very cute beaver). In Seward we saw several rapidly-retreating glaciers and were extremely lucky with a brief spotting of a fin whale (second largest animal on earth).
The Road Scholar group that we went with was great ... a very interesting coalition of bright, well-traveled people. I did come back having gained a few pounds, but it was all worth it!! Now that I am starting to feel better, ready to get back on track and lose the few pounds that I gained.14 -

@RangerRickL ha! Where's the photo of that baby waking up in the night to be fed?! At the moment I write my posts on here about 8-9pm UK time and if it's a bad night I might come back on about 4am UK time and read the posts from the US, Canada and afar (or if not, I read them the next day).
Pass #1. Took Rick's advice and although I was going to fit in a workout when the baby slept, I had a nap instead. Also went over on calories. Ah well. Tomorrow is a new day! Hope everyone's having a great weekend.9 -

Yes x 3 for me. Exercise was weights, tennis aerobics and stationary bike. Ate lots of my exercise calories today.

I have not been sleeping well at all. I aim for 7.5 and I have only been getting 5.5-6 each night. I need a good rest tonight for sure.7 -

This morning I ended up taking my husband to the ER for a bad reaction to a medication. His blood pressure went very low and scared me so I called 911. The EMT's came to the house and decided he should go to the ER. We spent a couple of hours there, he had two IV's, and once his BP was up he was released. He's going to follow up with his GP but hopefully, that won't happen again. I missed my morning water aerobics but by the late afternoon he was back to normal and I spend a couple of hours at my friend's pool and got my exercise in.10 -

I did catch up on my sleep!!
I felt great today and we baled 460 square bales of hay. Those bales each weigh about 45 lbs. That will get us through the upcoming 6 month no-growth season aka Winter and early spring. Most of the work was done by machine,but I still got lots of lifting and walking. More than an hour of exercise today.

Calories-Yes! Had to really restrain myself from snacking too much. I continue to work at keeping to a “no snacks after 7:30 pm” rule. Building that habit will take some time!
