Today's a favorite day of the month. We take our eyes of the scale and post about something else that is going great in your life.
Two weeks ago, I fell hard onto my back and right shoulder. This week, I am back to lifting 50 lb bales of hay with ease and no pain. No pain is definitely a NSV. We take it for granted when we don't have pain when we move.
What's going well with you?

Favorite day of the month! Can’t wait to come back and read everyone’s NSV.
Yesterday in strength training class our instructor, who we endearingly call the “queen of mean” for the workouts she puts us through, said to me “you need to start positioning yourself in the front of the class and get comfortable up there, someday you’ll be teaching it”.
Wow, that was one heck of a compliment!17 -

Great NSV Rick! - It's nice when we can do our tasks without having any pain issues!
Mine as to be my recent weight loss - 6lbs so far. Although I have to admit today as been a terrible day. Very tired and the depression is back. This thyroid condition seems to jump around, good days and bad days, and today is a bad day.
I'm hoping to get an appointment to see the doc tomorrow and see if I can get my medication increased and perhaps something to help fight the fatigue.
Unfortunately it's a two week wait to see the GP here, but fingers crossed I get in sooner.10 -
Did not have a good night last night and I have to take back my results I posted earlier in the evening.

I had an incredible day of NSVs today. To preface I HATED going out when I was at my highest weight and until I went to see fireworks last month I hadn’t been further than I could walk in over a year. Today I went out! I was able to get my seat belt on without the door being open and pulling the belt all the way out before I could get it buckled. At my highest the seat belts gave me trouble. Then I walked around the Walmart. I haven’t walked in a store for maybe three years, and even then I would sit down as often as possible. I’m looking forward to more days like this, but every day I find that I can do more and more.15

NSV for this month getting back to size 4/6 but even bigger was I assigned 2019 a year of renewed health and scheduled every test I could to identify any problem I could have. So far I have completed 11 tests and my last one is Monday. This was big for me because I have a rational fear of dentists and one of the tests was at the dentist. I had to over come that this month for my oral surgery.

I have been thinking about NSVs all day... I guess the biggest is that blood tests showed that I had inflammation in my body every year for the past 4 years. I made some changes to my diet, changed up my supplements & the last blood test showed it was almost gone. I haven’t lost much weight but the changes I have made have made me extremely healthy so losing weight is just the last step to perfect health. It’s pretty exciting but no big deal if weight loss is slow (even though I am very impatiently waiting for it to leave)11 -

Yes x 3. Exercise was cycling.
I don’t have anything interesting to say re: NSV, but I do have a positive story I want to share. I set out on a bike ride this afternoon in trails in the woods and happened upon a couple there. He was sitting on the ground and she was standing. I stopped and asked if everything was ok. He was a diabetic and they’d gotten lost and stayed out there too long, he needed sugar asap. His wife had apple juice in the car so I gave her my bike to go get it and waited with her husband. He grew more anxious and confused in the time she was gone, eventually lying on the ground with his eyes closed, not responding to me when I talked to him. Scary. He did however drink the juice from a bent straw when his wife came back. There’s more to the story, it was another hour before I left them, but let me jump to the part where he was ok in the end. It’s very fortunate that I took that bike ride.14 -

@RangerRickL So very sorry to learn of your hard fall, but pleased you have made such a good comeback. It certainly helps with recovery if we start with a good level of fitness.
@BonnieHosk85 Hoping you feel better soon. No fun being less than 100%.
@LisaPower123 It's always a good thing when our nutrition has a positive affect on our health.
@Ketch_22 You seem to have acquired a good health perspective. Being pro-active is paramount to preventing disease.
@victorious55 You were missed...and it's always nice to get back on track.
@znaoiec "Still putting one foot in front of the other and not giving up." That's the spirit!
@TerriRichardson112 You are commended for taking measurements. That's one thing I've never done.
@stella7x7 I think changing your watch band just might equate to taking a measurement. Good for you! Keep up the good work as you continue to recover.
@jjjcat We learn from those missed days. It's OK...just jump right back in.
@ConfidentRaven It's really nice to get out...and great for morale. Keep going.
@pribud Sometimes that glass of wine is a "necessary evil"...and then we figure out how it isn't necessary at all.
@Kelly_T_1977 Please take care of your good health first.
@lalabank That was one stand-up compliment. Congrats.
@fitphoenix Will watch for your NSV tomorrow.
@snowshoe072 Your NSV...another successful day for you.
My NSV is reading the NSV's already posted. They are inspiring and give me reason to treasure this fine group of like-minded virtual friends. As it is said "the whole is equal to the sum of its parts..." you each are an integral part of the team that makes UAC whole. Thank you for being here!

@goldthistime Seems to me your NSV is saving the life of another. You put that gentleman's needs before your plan for the day...and I'm sure you burned off more than a few calories in that tense situation. Very proud of you!5

My NSV - with some help from the class instructor I finally got a line dance I've been struggling with.6 -

Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes and under - wasn't very hungry today. It's been so hot here (was like 109 today) that I just wasn't hungry, but I am bloated. Could barely get my ring off my finger this evening.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yep!
LOVE the NSV threads! Everyone here is so inspirational.
My most recent NSV is being able to run 14 miles, which is my farthest distance to date, and not dying. LOL I'll be tackling it again soon, and hopefully eventually hitting 15 miles. I'm trying to prove to myself that full marathon training next year is a definite possibility.12 -
