Exercise: Yes, 30 minutes on treadmill

I got through half of August using only one Pass day. I'm pretty sure I have a few coming up, so it's good to have a little bit of breathing room.8 -
Came back to read the rest of the NSVs 👀
So uplifting!3 -
We don't walk around with our scale-reading displayed on our chests for people to notice. It's the way we have physically changed that people notice. NSV = I get comments about my changes even on a day that the scale may have inches up a bit.11

Yes x 3!
Exercise was the trusty gym treadmill.
I have a couple of NSVs:
Since the first of the year my labs show that I've reduced my A1C from 6.3 to 5.8 - which although is a "number" it's not a scale number - but you know, one of those things that reminds me that I am doing the work and sometimes the results aren't scale related. The high end of normal A1C is 5.7 for reference.
So, like @RangerRickL, last week I suffered from an injury (left shoulder triceps). Rather than use this as an excuse to throw out exercise for the week, the month, forever (!) I assessed what I could do. No golf or swimming, but heck, the legs are fine and do not interfere with my sling! So, I walked. Up and down our mountain road for 20 minutes at a stretch because the meds have a driving restriction, so no gym. This week I am back at work, off of the meds, and going to the gym to use the treadmill as I continue to rest the injury and seeing improvements as time goes by.11 -

Exercise: yes dog walks
Calories: under
Logged: yup
I haven’t felt hungry at all which is great. Cravings are down. I’m making really good food choices.5 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes
NSV: changing mindset to health vs. numbers on the scale. Haven't weighed myself all month and never felt better. Can feel my clothes getting looser and no matter how challenging my workouts are I just want to go back and conquer them as opposed to quitting6 -
Pass day #22
-
8/15
Exercised? yes
Tracked? yes
Calories? yes
Passes Used: 1/3
Weight lost in August: 2.4 lb
NSV: While in this challenge I've been able to break my post-dinner chocolate habit. Mostly because forcing myself to track daily helps me see that I don't have room for the calories. But even on days that I do I find myself not craving it as much and just skipping it. Yay!3 -

Wow O! I love this group. I just came back to read all the NSVs. They are so encouraging, so inspiring, so heart warming and so motivational.1
