Beautiful photo, @RangerRickL!
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? 2 mile treadmill run followed by 38 minutes of strength this morning.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes and under
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yep!
So, despite sticking with UAC since January and being in the Winner's Circle for 8 months straight now, my weight just hasn't been budging, which is super frustrating. I've come to realize I think it's because I have been too focused on cardio. When I originally lost 61 lbs a few years ago, I was lifting heavy and running, but the strength was a bit more of a focus. That really helped me lose tons of inches and the weight just slid off.
So it's time to experiment -- starting this morning, I'm starting to focus a bit more on strength and I'm going back to the program I used before -- Chalean Extreme -- which focuses on lifting heavy. I'm going to use September to see how it goes. I have about 10-12 lbs to go to get back to my goal weight. Wish me luck!11 -

Exercise? Yes. Morning strength routine and an hour of cycling.
Tracked? No. Not all of it at least. We had Indian food at a birthday celebration for my husband and I couldn’t keep it all straight.
Under calories? Not sure.
Pass Day #2. I had an end of season tennis party at lunchtime and left from there straight to my husband’s birthday party. Fun day, and with the cycling in there I mitigated most of the damage.5 -
@nicnz Congrats on reaching an 11 month low!
@jan110144 I’m down 2 pass days already too, and we’re not alone. I’m still optimistic
@Stanmullane Yesterday’s big deficit means you’ll be gentle with yourself today though if you’re suddenly very hungry right?
@Hardwick1 Those darn wayward slices of cake! One bumped into me too today.2 -
@debrakgoogins Is “rotational weight for distance” anything like discus? You did a number on that grass. Looks like me at a driving range
@snowshoe072 Hope that knee feels better today.
@dforeman08 Sorry to hear about the stress and lack of sleep. I hope today is better on both fronts.
@corriepelc Go get’em girl.

Logging for the 4th and the 5th today.
4th:
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes 31 min on the elliptical weight loss routine.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes in a big way. It was a good day.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yup
5th:
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
So I consider this my first pass day because I didn’t formally exercise. I did run around for almost 7 hours doing errands for work incl unloading my truck of tile and installing tile for an hour. But for me - exercise is time set aside for myself. Activity is awesome but mentally it doesn’t substitute for exercise like walking cross training or weight.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes I was too tired to even eat dinner!
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes.
I am down three pounds since I started in late August.5 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, did a Pace run of 4.5M at 8:44/M. Took me 39:15, then I walked for 30 minutes to cool down and did some stretches and foam rolling. Walked to dinner last night as well. Ended up with 17,800 steps for the day.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? I believe so. We went out for dinner and while I was meticulous about logging everything I ate, it's hard to tell if my chicken was cooked in 1 or 2 TBS of oil, etc. But I will give myself a Thumb's Up.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? I believe so. See above.5 -
