Another sunny day with a chance of showers. We land to go to the farmer market in a nearby town today. Not sure what else.

Not much happening here. I slept in, and am now awaiting my grocery delivery. Church tonight, and the songs are super-easy. Last week the sound system was all messed up and we got no sound through the main speakers. So, we had to hook up additional ground speakers to our monitors, because we were getting sound out of those. The bad part was that we had a brand new electric guitar player with us, and we only had about 10 minutes to go over parts of a couple songs. But, he followed well, so it was okay. It's supposed to be fixed today ... we shall see.
I'll do some food prep for the week once the groceries get here, too. Hugs all around!0 -

Church, this morning, a rainy walk, this afternoon, then maybe some shop time.
I visited Puerto Rico once, long ago, on a multi-service training exercise. I was on the east end of the island - Roosevelt Roads Naval Air Station. Didn't get a chance to travel around, much, but did visit a nearby town during some sort of festival. Had a blast. Always wanted to go back and experience the natural beauty.0 -

It's good to be home. Convention was great - lots of research and collaboration with the medical community including research institutes, major hospitals, and oncology centers.

Heading to our old church for homecoming, minister today grew up in church and his parents were great friends and neighbors. Dinner on the grounds afterwards, been up a good while fixing a 10 lb roast on grill.
Did not take DMIL where she could get a drink last night.

Had one of those dreams where people from past snuck in it. Woke up uneasy, yet can't remember any details lol. Likely the libations yesterday.
Fall is in the air, the lake was beautiful out on boat. Mid 70's and sunny. Cloudy today and a bit humid, SO says rain this afternoon so we may head out early? Though I have some nightcrawlers to use up...

My post got poofed. And I didn't even have any *kitten* words!
Long day yesterday watching ball (ATL owns the Nats). Scary stuff for Culberson taking a fast ball square in the cheek/nose. Yikes!
Today may hit winery with some friends - then home to watch some football/nascar.
Sent this to remind my nieces that I'm still their cool uncle today who will be thirsty in outlier years.

- That was a scary situation for Charlie Culberson last night. Fortunately the report this morning is better than it could have been.
- Skip, compare the Braves / Nats records against teams with a >.500 record. It explains a lot.
- l'm balancing baseball and football watching today. I"ll let Skip monitor the left turn Boys.
