Good day!
One of the big question of the UAC is what is 'your own calorie limit? Frankly, I don't know. If you have been tracking your calories, and tracking your weight, it should become easy for you to discern how many calories are "too many" and how many calories are low enough to lose weight.
If you have achieved maintenance of weight, at whatever weight you consider to be satisfactory, then you should already know your maintenance caloric maximum.
You are the one who chooses your own caloric limit. You are the one who decides if you achieved your goal of eating less than that limit or if you exceeded that limit.
I am definitely not your parent in the UAC. At the end of the month, I ask you to self-report whether or not you are qualified for the Winner's Circle.
You are in charge!
UAC FAQ:
4. What if I only go five calories over budget? Or one calorie over budget?
We are all adults here. Frankly, it's up to you to make your own decision about your calorie limit and then adhere to your own rules. You keep track of your own days and your own fulfillment of the Thoughtful Healthy Habits of the UAC.9 -

It’s all about the choices for me. I am approaching maintenance. I choose to stay under the amount of calories which consistently gives me the result I want. If I want to eat more, I exercise more.

Yes x 3 for Friday
Did am Boot camp, and now I'm gonna walk the dog for an hour and a half, picking up dinner along the way. That's how I'm gonna justify the yummy cookies I bought for anniversary dessert tonight.
I never would have gone out my way to exercise / offset calories like this in the past, I would simply use an event as an excuse to indulge...that's fine too but this month I really wanna make that circle!9 -

@RangerRickL yeah, kayaking is pretty special, simultaneously exhilarating and peaceful. This is Grover’s Mill pond near Princeton, NJ. Notable for being the setting for HG Wells’ “War of the Worlds.” Great place for an easy paddle and viewing lots of wildlife. Had an Osprey dive right in front of me today-an amazing site.3

Exercise -- Yes, lots of it. Went for a jog this morning; the first time I've jogged since I injured my ankle about a year ago. I went in 1 minute intervals of walk/jog. Felt amazing! Then I spent about 6 hours in the kitchen cooking vegetarian stuffs for tomorrow's Farmer's Market. And a 30 minute sunset power walk & swim with my partner.
Calories -- Yes, didn't even need to eat back my exercise calories.
Tracked -- Indeed5 -

I agree on making the calories work for you and giving yourself leniency but at the same time being honest about keeping yourself to your goal. If you're consistently losing (or maintaining) then if one day you go over by 20 but go on a post-dinner walk to offset, you're fine.5 -
