Oh no!!! You screwed up and did not do one or more of the almost holy daily rituals of:
1) track all of your caloric intake
2) do exercise for at least 20 minutes
3) consume less calories than your own designated limit
4) daily post your experience for accountability...
Are you doomed to the fiery pits of Hades??????????????????
Nope!
Are you in jeopardy of not achieving your own personal goals??? Could be.
Will you be listed in this month's Winner's Circle qualifiers? Yes, if you don't have more than 3 Pass days.
UAC FAQS:
7. What happens if I "slip up"?
Well, mistakes happen. The challenge is to be mindful of your fitness plan every day for a month. If you slip up for one day and you have used all your allowable Pass days, you will not qualify for the monthly Winner's Circle. BUT, we encourage you to stick with us and your goals. Nobody gets tossed out of the UAC. It's a long-term life change that the UAC is promoting.
8. What if the moderator “slips up”?
The moderater, @RangerRickL, does not always qualify for the Winner's Circle. Since I don't always qualify...you can certainly be forgiven if you don't qualify.9 -
I did not qualify for the Winner's Circle last month!

Taking today as a planned pass day. I'm out of town visiting my family and going out to dinner tonight for my brother's birthday. Went on a 40 min walk in the woods and technically could log but it's a combo of a) I'd probably be over in calories anyway and b) I'd like to enjoy the night out and not worry about trying to figure out approximate logging using the database
So passes used: 1/38 -

Rose and I are in Middlebury, IN. We are here to celebrate Rose's 50th college graduation reunion. She attended a Mennonite church sponsored Goshen, College in nearby Goshen, Indiana. This area has an enormous and growing population of Amish. The Amish are a conservative Protestant Christian religious group which emphasizes family and simplicity. To that end, they avoid many modern conveniences and rely on horse drawn farm vehicles and transportation.
We have friends and family who are Amish and we spent this evening in a Amish home surrounded by friendly smiling faces. We were also the guests of honor for whom many homemade pies had been baked.
Thus, this is Pass Day #1 for October.
No need to give me any hugs. Some times a Pass Day is worth it!
