Weigh-in Day
Did you choose it, or did it choose you?
Is your Weigh-in day different or same old?

I weigh daily, at home, and 'officially" on Friday, as it was the day I re-started WW.
Usually very different. We don’t eat, until after our meeting, but usually back home, with the same old.
However, we then have Date Night, with a great meal, prepared by me, or out at a nice place. Of course, with me, are my beers. :D

I'm a daily weigher and have been since I started. I picked Friday as WI day when I started back in 2011 and stuck with it. I picked it for selfish reasons at first being Friday before the weekend and having the week to recover. That has not been a good reason for picking Friday. Really if I'm going to stick to the program I'm going to stick to the program regardless of the day of my WI.

One last point my RD Nutritionist does not want me to weigh everyday. It's a very hard habit to break. Curiosity killed the cat type scenario.

I'm also a daily weigher. Original WI day was Friday since it was a WW at Work group. Then when that disbanded, I started at a center at an early morning Saturday meeting. 99% of the time my LT WI is done on a Saturday unless it is a month where I have conflicts every week of the month with bike rides or other out of town activities.

Sunday. It was my meeting day. They had Sunday’s where I lived. Saturday was packed. So I settled into Sunday. Never occurred to me to weigh in any other day.

Now I just weigh intermittently. No system really. Not every day.

The Motivation board is loaded with daily weighers, most freaking out. Glad I stumbled into WW when and how I did. I picked up a number of good habits. Working week to week being one of them.

As with so many of us I weigh my self daily. I even packed a scale into our RV so I am weighing every day while we are traveling. My first weigh in day was a Sunday morning, the time & place just worked into my schedule very nicely. Then when I got remaried moved from N. Jersey to Bethlehem Pa, to Pittsbugh Pa, to Williamsburg Va, The day moved around between Saturday & Sunday, always trying to find the leader that worked best for me. When we first got to Williamsburg 6+ years ago it was a Saturday meeting that I kind of enjoyed, but the group dynamics of the meeting changed somewhat and I kind of became the class clown that every one liked to make fun of. I eventually got fed up with it and switched to a Tuesday AM meeting where I have been going for the past 2 years.
While we are on this RV trip We have been attending meetings wherever we are, been to 2 so Far. Virginia Beach Va. and Asheville NC so far, Planning on doing 1 either Monday or Tuesday somewhere around Atlanta.

My weigh in day is Saturday, which was the day I first joined Weight Watchers. I have pretty much just stuck with it, although for a period of time I had to switch to a Sunday morning meeting. Now, I do Weight W online and I use Saturday because it is convenient.

There was a period of time that I weighed myself daily. However, I didn’t start that right away. I remember a number of the more experienced Goadies suggesting to not weigh on a daily basis until after you had been comfortable that the program works. I followed their advice, and I think it was really wise. In the early days, the wild fluctuations that can occur on a day-to-day basis, not to mention when you decide to weigh at different times of the day, could really have freaked me out. Instead, after I was very comfortable that Weight Watchers worked for me, I was able to look at those fluctuations with interest and curiosity, rather than with an emotional attachment.

I haven’t gone back to daily weighing for a while.
