Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, walking, cooking for the week
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes
NSV day ... For the pass few weeks, I have been able to stick to the principle. "If the food is going to make sick or feel bad the next day, then it is NOT worth my calories nor a pass day". I am looking forward to spending all Christmas parties with this principle. So far, I have applied it to last week's parties."
Two more parties coming up this week! Hoping to apply this principle to these parties. I will give you all a feedback by this time next week.8 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, a dog walk and longer walk for myself, almost two hours total
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? yes
@RangerRickL Good to hear your back is better and the exercises are paying off.
My nonscale victories after four and a half months on MFP and over 30 pounds down:
My clothes actually fit.
I'm eating simple, nutritious meals, pack my food for work, and haven't bought vending machine snacks or touched the cookies in the break room in months (and I don't feel deprived).
I'm stronger. I can walk and jog for miles. I can pick up heavy objects with no problem.8 -
Yes x 3
I got 30 minutes of cardio and I got up after every hour of sitting to do a resistance exercise.
Passes: 2 days left.
NSV: I feel great and my heart is fitter today than it was before.
Have a successful day tomorrow all!7 -
Exercise: 21K steps
Calories: Y 1838/1800 + 875 exercise...just dipped into the exercise calories today.
Tracked: Y
NSV...I guess I would have to echo @Hollis100 ...
Having lost 45# in the last 3 months or so
My wardrobe has expanded ....meaning I can now get back into a lot of the clothes I couldn’t before.
I have also successfully avoided the workplace vending machines and the potlucks over the last couple months.
I’m eating much better and it hasn’t been a chore nor I am I growing tired of it.
And I also feel stronger in my walking and climbing stairs....
I feel I still have momentum in my quest to achieve my goal weight. The last couple times I fizzled out was only a couple pounds away from where I am now.8 -
I haven't had the greatest days recently with regard to our 3 goals, but I'm taking a 4 day me time weekend before the craziness hits. I did go to Jiu Jitsu on Saturday and rolled with coach. He expected me to take longer to get back from my surgery which was encouraging and we chatted about how I over think things so much which is my biggest problem at the moment. I freak out at the idea of rolling with anyone but a few people, although a bigger variety is actually safe for me.
My nsv is mostly that I'm still here, still trying to get things back on track. And that I'm talking to coach about the hurdles I'm facing.8 -
Nsv's winter wardrobe looking and feeling different, more stamina, less tired
Pass day #3

3 x’s yes. 45 minute HIIT and an hour of spin. Good on calories.
I love reading everyone’s NSV. Mine is physical. I feel like I’ve leveled up in my workouts. I can’t exactly explain it. It’s not like any of it’s easier, it just feels like I can push further.5 -

NSV #1:
On our hike Saturday, we saw a line of folks coming up the hill toward us. I saw the second woman was a friend of mine since 1990. We see each other 2-3 times a year. I said Hi Robin & gave her a big hug. She pressed back away from me & I quickly said, “it’s me..Maddie!”
She said OMG I didn’t recognize you!
NSV #2:
Feeling more confident in my new look & trimmer physique.
NSV #3:
I’m significantly better at handling sad or difficult situations now than I was 4 years ago. I rarely use food at these times now.8 -

Exercise: Yes, a 30 minute dog walk and 20 minutes of hip therapy
Calories: Yes, had 300 calories left again
Logged: Yes, logged everything and still managed to fit in a small amount of a new mac & cheese recipe we made2 -
yes x3. Biked.
NSV was when I saw someone I hadn't seen in a while and she asked if I had lost weight. The truth was that I was only a couple pounds more the last time I saw her, so that must mean that my body recomposition is going well if she noticed enough to ask me. Good motivation that it's not all about the scale, but also about getting stronger and toned!3 -
