I'm quite impressed with myself. 24 hours of nil by mouth except water. No coffee, no teas, nada! I'm fine. Also did a 3 hour walk. 2 hours to work and 1 hour back then caught the bus as it was so sunny!
No headaches, hunger pangs came and passed. In hospital tomorrow - have another 24 hours to go. I've volunteered to go in a medical trial which requires 48 hours of no food and just water.
Off to bed and hopefully another 12 hours down!11 -

Long night last night. Between wife and I there was someone awake all night last night. Daughter still safe.
Followed up by long work day (not what I needed). Still got walk in. REALLY NEEDED.
Hopefully more sleep tonight and better day tomorrow.
Loved reading yesterdays NSV's. People can be amazing.
Thought for the day. When things go not as planned you can be upset for the interruptions or glad for the diversions. The events are the same. How you think about them makes all the difference.
I am thankful for what I have. By reminding myself of this, it keeps me from taking what I have for granted. This is how I choose to see the world.12 -

Okay so here we are a little beyond the half way mark..............LOL I wasn't sure I would be able to exercise at all because I got a cortisone shot in my hip but the doc said "go for it" and I'm even going to PT in the morning.
Soooooooo, I still only have ONE pass day so far!

Exercise? I don't normally count housework as my formal exercise, but I cleaned for hours today, so I am taking that as > 20 minutes. Over 8000 steps and about 300 calories according to my Fitbit, which thinks all vacuuming and mopping is "elliptical".
Within my calorie goal? Assuredly. Not so great on macros, but under for calories. I was not in the best mood today and ate without planning well.
Tracked everything? Yeppers!
I'm excited that I've made it halfway without using a pass day yet. I have one planned for this Friday (celebrating 2 birthdays and our anniversary).6 -

I must admit though, I did extra cardio the past couple days because I have a dr appt. on Wednesday, so hoping to lose an extra lb or so my BMI is 9 points (or more) less than same time last year... we’ll see, haha. Either way, will be okay since it’s less3 -
Still not much of an appetite today. Well under calories. I walked my kids to school and did a whole bunch of cleaning. That’s the most I’ve been on my feet in the last few days. Hoping my energy levels and appetite improve tomorrow.5

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? No. Unable to get myself together after hearing of my friend's death and my pup being diagnosed with diabetes. The day did improve when I kept my appointment to give blood. I felt like I was contributing something good. It's going to be a rough week with the visitation tomorrow and the service Wednesday, plus trying to figure out how to care for my Ollie properly. Feeling quite overwhelmed right now.

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? One the second day of a two-day Board meeting today, so I didn't get to work out in the morning. However, all the running around I did for the meeting got me to over 10K steps, so to me that's a successful day!

Second time with the exercise physiologist. She is an inspiring teacher/coach. During the last 10 days, the exercises that she has recommended as my first step have helped me to become more comfortable. Today, after a half hour of poking and prodding my left lumbar area, she decided that I am ready for step 2. I'm mighty sore from 2+hours of therapy.
