Morning~
Can I place a takeout order, Dennis?
I can see on the horizon - something called FRIDAY! Where's that fickle day been hiding!
Knocked out a full course yesterday (writing) and will concentrate on its supplemental course over the weekend.
You have the patience of Job, Sam. Id've sent DMIL to bed for not eating her vegetables.
Steph - stay safe!
SGM - how's Rita?
Seems like all the cool kids will be in FLA next month!

Hello
My friend and co-workers hubby was transported to ICU last night and coded on way to hospital last night, they bagged him and I've not heard back from her this morning
Prayers and thoughts of her and him all night long....
Them some lucky Methodist Men's Club members! Im not doing too bad myself this morning enjoying a great cup of Joe and a egg veggie chicken sausage cup. Only thing better would be Dennis making it for me!
My 1275 lbs of show freight is packed up and at the door ready for pick up. Amazing how I can procrastinate this process, yet pull it all together and get it shipped out of here in a half a day,
Onward
You all have a great day

Good Morning,
School called last night, then called this morning and said teacher was coming in, good I really did not want to put up with a bunch of 9th graders.
Mary, I hope you are going to have help in setup down there, prayers for co-worker
Our men's breakfast is 1st Sunday of each month and rotates on who is cooking
Lou, a little too spicy early morning for me
Skip, sounds as you are back in swing of juggling professor and government
Lee, hope computer and software functioning properly; of course there is always a learning curve for you and staff
Steph, glad you and Ron on south side; pictures coming in look bad; of course an idiot Democrat congressman from Georgia says PR is an island and can just flip over into Caribbean
Continue prayers for Rita0 -
Ah the Romeo of Romeos strikes again w foodie stuff! You go Dennis!
•Mary I am sending Ts and Ps for your your friend and her DH who went to the ICU.
We may spend a day or two in Idaho where it is expected to drop in temp anywhere from 2°F to -4°F not counting windchill. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. My wife's cuddly duds aren't nearly enough for that. Also snow is expected at all elevations for Portland Oregon too.
Freezing this morning already even though not predicted.0 -
Good morning BBB crew.
Had a pleasant saunter through the forest, yesterday, though high water at a creek crossing turned me back well short of my goal. No snow, either. There should be two feet of snow up there, this weekend. That's too much, though; they'll close the road.

Mornin' BBB.
Sincerest condolences to your friend, Mary. We just found out that one of our clients woke up dead at home a couple of months ago. 52 yrs old. Gym rat. Picture of health. Prayers for the survivors.
That is cold, Bob. When I was cleaning the geese last week, I was reminded why goose down makes the best clothing fill for cold weather. Amazing how soft and dense that stuff is. I think they make goose down onsesies for adults.
The new software will take months to debug or make changes to so that it will work for a working practice. This is unproven software. Brand new and created by a 22 yr old who's claim to fame is that his mother is a veterinarian and he works for Apple. Basically our clinic, and a couple of others, are the beta run for it.
I was complaining yesterday because of poor planning on the part of the IT staff. The guy should have had a helper and never should have shut us down midday. New hardware is great, Windows 10/Lenovo notebooks and laptops. All wireless and works famously.
I must still be not right. Pastrami taco should have sounded good. Sadly, it doesn't.
I do not envy you this weekend, Mary. Those kind of events, even hunting and fishing shows, just bore the heck out of me. Can't believe you aren't getting some kind of bonus pay. They better fly you first class, put you up in a really nice hotel room, and give you lots of food and booze money.
Dennis, I'm feeling like 3 scrambled eggs with some cream cheese please. Bacon on the side.
Skip, you have to design the curriculum too? I know some folks like that sort of thing but not me. Give me a plan and I'll execute it. Guess I not creative that way.

A down onesie......hmmmmmm
Yup - I get a contract to develop and write the course. Someone else adds the graphics and builds into the learning management system. Then I get a separate contract to deliver the course. Its not bad - keeps my penchant for expensive boys toys well funded :-).
Enjoy the trek, Mary! EXPENSE THE *kitten* on that corporate card! I'm not sure I'd do it without extra pay!0 -
You guys are a hoot, do you have any openings - Im for hire? Whats bonus pay? They better fly you first class, put you up in a really nice hotel room, and give you lots of food and booze money... haaa that's funny
1. thankfully I don't depart until Sat. Feb 1st, buy my freight has to depart sooner though, be staged in a warehouse in FL way before I get there, this way they can charge you storage too (its a racket for sure) ...
2. I have a SW air "non stop" flight for $260 round trip it even includes a checked bag, that's about as 1st class as it gets.
3. I have a Co Amer X card, and the bean counter requires a receipt for "every penny" I spend, or I don't get reimbursed. So I just charge everything and they can deal with any missing receipts themselves. I usually don't miss any.
4. I'll get mileage reimb. to drive to airport and back but at .50/mile, and the irs 2019 rate is .58/mile, not sure they can even do that, but they do?
5. Im staying at a Homewood Suites, I don't call that a really nice hotel, but its livable for 5 nights, I guess.
6.But hey, Im taking one for the team, cuz I'm a playa, a team playa that is(this too shall pass.)
7. Since Im giving up a weekend Sat and Sun on front end (with no pay) to depart 2/1and set up 2/2 for Monday 2/3, I decided to fly back late in eve. Wed. 2/5, which hopefully is not a bad move since show ends at 4pm, I'll be in a rush to pack up and get to airport. I'm not coming to office 2/6 or 2/7, and I will be getting paid while out, I call that even.
8. Food and drinks? Well, I'm trying to lose weight and not drink any booze, so there's that. uuggghhh
Sounds like a joyous trip, doesn't it?0 -
Prayers for your friend Mary.
We drove to the beach this morning for our walk. It appear power is about half on in this area. Some traffic lights still out and some business closed as we got further into town.
We walked 15 km today. I'm feeling it after two days off. I just downloaded a new book and may take a nap today. Still need a haircut but want to make sure power is back on before we venture that way.0
