Yesterday, Rose and I, saw a horse filled parade. Horses are my favorite animal and there were numerous breeds and sizes. Not surprisingly, I walked around the parade area wearing a cowboy hat. My nicknsme RangerRick, was started by my best friend and riding companion, Gary. He always enjoyed teasing me.

Longer walk today. Was very tired and my pace was not it's usual.
Went drone race flying in the morning. Was good to fly. Unfortunately things to fix before competition next week.
I now know I am really not mentally 100%. Flying usually leaves me exhilarated, but somehow not today. Was enjoyable, but the usual "buzz" just wasn't there.

Another easy exercise day, just walking the dog around the local pond for an hour. All meals & drinks logged & under budget etc. Waiting for the lactic acid burn in the legs to dissipate before continuing with the running. Travelling for most of the day tomorrow, heading off back to work for a few weeks. Hope everyone had a great weekend.10

Hi everyone, last month I asked for help in finding substitutes for chips and you all came up with amazing ideas! This month I'm back to ask for help with substitutes for another kind of chip: chocolate!
I love having a bite of dark chocolate after my dinner, but with choc chips it's too easy to just keep grabbing small handfuls over and over. I don't want to buy a large dark chocolate bar either because those are messy to break up and also easy to overeat.
Ideally I'm looking for single-serving pre-cut individual servings of super dark chocolate. Anyone have tips for brands or types to try? Thanks!5 -

For dark chocolate, I eat at least 70%. The 70% tastes better than 85% to me. The trick is to remember why I eat it, then hide it after one serving where even I can not find it or put it somewhere that I have to drive to it in order to get a second serving.

I guess tiredness and a busy weekend broke me down with my eating. I wanted to get to the gym but ended up taking a nap late this afternoon, and then I had a small chocolate craving....so I guess it's PASS DAY 1 for me.

I had a rough week last week, logged & tracked & exercised all days but my calories were almost always over. Tomorrow is a new day & a new start.10

Able to do 30 minutes of spin lost my 215 days of closing my move ring for my Apple Watch I upgraded my phone ๐ข but I logged and tracked oh well.... life goes on6

I like to get sometimes 100 caleries dark chocolate bar. As far as the dark choc chips for snacking, I keep my choc. Chips in the freezer and use for baking only. I have gotten choc cravings and gotten into them.But have to watch myself not to binge on them. For a choc chip alternative, there is carob chip or barley mult chips. Both are good.8 -

@RangerRickL, you might be interested to know that we live in a little town in So Cal actually called "Horse Town USA". We don't own horses but most of our neighbors do and we're surrounded by horse trails rather than side walks. Most of the properties are minimum of 1/2 acre and many with more acreage and several large horse ranches near us. Not a day goes by that I don't see people riding horses along the horse trail in from of my house or Penny and I meet them on the trail when we walk!
