Had a lot of fun on another long mountainous 🏔 hike with my darling husband.💕
Deer, wild turkeys... 🦌 🦃
But the MOST EXCITING was when the 2nd trunk of an oak 🌳 crashed down through the forest in front of us. Luckily the couple & the jogger ahead of us, and closest to the tree, were completely safe. 🙏🏻
The most amazing things were:
1) the incredible scent in the air of Bay Laurel since the tree crashed through a lot of those leaves and 2) how completely still the forest was after such a loud, scary event. WE are the VISITORS on 🌍!
Also, I took a nap... more like I passed out lol I began the hike tired, so I’m glad I got some extra rest afterwards!!

Burning pass day #2.......
The error of my ways was eating the serving of the keto pizza casserole my wife made right on the heels of lunch which meant I pretty much smoked my calories for the day by early afternoon. I knew it wasn’t going to end well as I wasn’t really feeling it for any kind of marathon exercise session either. Oh well ...as they say tomorrow is another day.4 -

Helped coach with kids class (normally I help a couple of the other blue belts, so it was great to work with our black belt coach instead for a change) then went to movies with my bestie. Birds of Prey!!!! We do all the superhero movies together because her husband doesn't like them. I didn't log food and just enjoyed the rest of the day with some treats while catching up on series.2 -
