I’ve found resistance bands great for strength training and applicable for all muscle groups.5 -
A good day but another pass day.
Cheetos ... why do they call them Cheetos?
Because they cause you yo cheat on tracking and budgeting.
Winter returned.
Putting a fire in the fireplace was about as much exercise as I got.
Buddy came over. That is always fun. Counts as exercise if I look at it that way.6 -
Yes x3
In the past I've enjoyed group classes for exercise (salsa, parkour etc). These past six months I've been doing parkour 2-3 times a week and supplementing with some push-ups and squats.
Due to the shutdowns I now have to do all bodyweight exercises at home which puts the pressure on me to keep up a balanced routine. That's why I'm glad that I recently found the Adidas Training app I was talking about. They have preset exercise routines or you can make your own by plugging in the number of minutes and which areas you're targeting (upper, lower, abs) and it will create a routine for you. I like that and enjoy the app to keep me mktivatedt-- it works for me better than a YouTube video I think because I like the idea of logging it.
I also enjoy walking although I much prefer walking in DC to actually *go* places rather than just to walk around. I'm not in the nicest neighborhood, although it does have some nice streets with houses, and I also prefer thinking of walking as a healthy way to commute and get places instead of wandering around in circles. But I haven't needed to get anywhere in the past month, so walking has felt more like an exercise chore rather than a healthy means of transport. Oh well.5 -
Yes x 3! I got distracted last night and forgot to post.
Got well over 90 minutes of walking in between work and the grocery store. Tracked all and under-ate in a big way.
Picked up some hombre yarn in tones that match our burgundy and black scrubs and started crocheting button headbands for mask straps for my gang and anyone else out here that wants one.
When I'm not working, my prefered exercise is anything that gets me moving with my VR headset on. I love the climbing program, boxing and any of the rhythm games. Helps pass the time and the calorie burn is decent, depending on which game I play. I've recently started table tennis.

April 13th, Pass Day #1
Started out as a normal pass day. Exercise was not going to happen. I woke up, and got up, earlier than normal and it was raining. Ended up going to work for six hours, with no afternoon coffee, so I was exhausted in the evening. (On my feet most of the time I am there). I was thinking I would have taken my walk then, but it was too late and I was waaay too tired. So no big deal, I was still under my calories for the day..... Then I fell asleep on the couch at 8 pm. Tried to go to bed sometime after 9 and, of course, I couldn't get to sleep! It ticked me off that my husband was sawing logs, I realized I was hungry, and that's when I got up, came downstairs and raided the snack cupboard. So a normal pass day with no damage done turned into a train wreck!!
All I can do now is put it behind me and start fresh on the 14th.6 -

Side effects from immunosuppressants are minimal along with worrying about losing kidney. Exercise, particularly in nature, lifts my spirits, relaxes me, reminds me how much healthier & fir I am, and provides subjects for my art practice! Once I stared calling it my “ME Time”, my whole attitude changed!
Yesterday, I began a tiny habit...
Every morning after I weigh myself, I need to get down in bedroom floor & move into plank position. Hold it for as little or as much as I like.
April 13 2 seconds
April 14 12 seconds
I used to do 5-10 minute long holds. Hardest part is remembering to do it & wanting to get down on the floor lol
So far, so good. Once this one is a habit, I’m going to add light free weights & resistance bands for arms/shoulders/back!5 -

@MadisonMolly2017 Thanks for sharing about your plank. In a short time, of a month to 6 weeks, it will be great for you to look back and be amazed at your upcoming progress!1
