Hi all and welcome to Run Track Minds!

My name is Amy, I’ve been participating since October and (co)captaining since December. Since October I’ve lost 50lbs, gained almost 20 and lost 10 of that lol. Honestly this group has really helped to keep me going and to get back on track.

For anybody who’s new here something some of us do for extra accountability is a daily post (loosely) in the following format:

Daily Post Day of the Week
    Track: Yes/No
    Calories: Under/Over
    Exercise: Yes/No
Day: how you feel about today. Any big wins or challenges etc.

If anyone has anything else they’d like to try as a group I’d be open to it!

Please let me k ow if you have any questions!

First weigh in starts on or after Sunday Apr 26.

Ok peeps, let’s do this! I don’t know about the rest of you but I am so sick of this virus taking stuff from me.

There’s not much we can control right now but we can control what we eat. We can control how much we move. I refuse to let this virus ruin the progress I’ve made.

The hugely competitive person in me has decided that I am going to crush this and when we’re finally allowed to go back to work I’m going to look like a very different person! I am going to win corona virus 🤣

We can’t control much but we can control how we react.

I keep seeing people saying sorry for poor weight loss and for letting the team down. Please don’t! Things are hard enough now, don’t beat yourself up. Keep coming back, keep logging your weight, keep checking in and eventually you’ll get your head back into this and get back at it. Be kind to yourself.

I hope you’re all safe and healthy and stay that way!

    Let’s crush this!

Hi-I was in a different group before but kind of fell off my tracking so I’m happy to be back in a group! I’ve lost about 40# since fall 2019, and reversed prediabetes (yay!). The last month has been all loopy and I’ve gained a bit, but now feeling ready to re-create a new reality for the next few months, which includes continuing to lose. I’m about halfway to my goal.

Aannnd totally forgot to weigh in today being Monday but will post tomorrow!

Weigh in week: MAY Week 1
    Weigh in day: Wed
    Previous Week's weight: 150.4 pounds
    Today's Weight: 150.2 pounds

After 6 weeks of "Stay at Home" Montana is slowly reopening. Today is Day 3 and really doesn't feel any different than the last 6 weeks. Somehow my weight is down 2 pounds during this time even though I stopped tracking calories. It's week 10 training for a half marathon. I'm taking this week as a fall back week and doing more walking than running. The HM is scheduled for May 30th... waiting to hear if the race will happen as planned or changed to a virtual race.
