    how was everyones weekend? I was recruted by my mom to help her fix up her front porch/sun room. we thought it would be a 1-2 day project, well turned out even though the paint had been falling off, it was still stuck as heck, so I ended up having to sand her walls, the sanding and painting took 3 dang days, and my arm is still shakey from using that sander over my head. My moms been having back issues, so I ended up doing 80% of the sanding. Then yesterday we put in a new ceiling and carpet, so it ended up a full 3 day project, but its done now.

    With that going on, and I have been in a pretty down mood the past few dys, I have been eating crap, well my somach was very angry last night from that, so Im spending the next couple days fixing that and eating pretty minimally and only easy on my stomach foods. hopefully my weight doesnt look too bad on wednesday.

    I am supposed to get a fitbit via mail tomorrow, so I could join your steps group for May then if it is not too late. I could estimate steps for the last few days based on time and miles.

    I guess biking doesn't count which I did,too.

    @Caratach I'll certainly plug you in the group! Need to know your daily step goal, please! Welcome!! Biking counts just fine as long as you put your fitbit in your pocket, it will pick up the peddling as steps!! Good luck!

    My fitbit should get delivered tomorrow.

    Let me know if you want me to estimate steps up until then. I have been recording the time walked, so I could use a formula to estimate.

    Thanks Jessica! I have my ups and downs... both weight wise and stress wise (not surprisingly inversely correlated with each other), but I’m doing ok. Hope everyone else is hanging in there too!

    Happy Tuesday everyone.

    Another great weather day here in Texas. I love this time of year when the sun is out but it’s not too hot. It always makes me more active. Yesterday was walking, biking and pickleball. Today is walking and lots of Golf (I have my weekly group lesson today).

    @Caratach No need to estimate...but until your fitbit arrives, you can certainly set your phone to count your steps...that's what I did in the beginning until I got my first one. It's not as accurate, but close.
