Sorry so late today, Goadies!
My day started at 3 a.m. and is just winding down now.
On top of that, I completely missed it was Wednesday.
In regards to the question...while my regular lack of sleep doesn’t significantly affect my loss or maintenance, I find it definitely affects my cravings. I think my body-mind connection is somehow shortwired and tries to rebalance by feeding the beast. The outcome is a mixed bag depending on exactly how tired I feel.0 -
I find I have less will power to resist over indulging in either snacks or portion sizes when I am over tired1

During the week I live in a perpetual state of being overtired. There just aren't enough hours in the day to do everything I want, and so I get up early to get my exercise in before the rest of the day begins. Saturday is Shabbat, and as such, it is truly a day-of-rest. That includes sleeping in a bit later, and even taking a nap!
I can't say this really effects my weight-management, because it's pretty constant from week-to-week. As such, my weight-management is overlaid on top of my fatigue.0 -

I have the same response. I think it's that I am more apathetic about things, in general, when I am overly tired.1 -
Lack of sleep has effected my appetite in the past. If I'm really tired I get hungry. My appetite deffinitely will increase if I don't get good sleep. For whatever reason I don't nap anymore mostly because I'm on my bi/pap machine and don't fool with it in the afternoon or I'm out working.
In my case it's proven overtime that I will gain weight if tiredness or lack of sleep persist.
