Good day even though I'm so feeling tired. Being sick during work cycle definitely takes it out of you. Luckily it was only a 24 hour bug and I'm healthy again, just haven't had the chance to recover energy levels with my job.
Today was good, a busy day which included jumping in the water to clean the island and collect a pipe that one seal broke off it's fitting. Vet visit to check all the animals and all good on both of our sides. Then cleaning out a few penguin nests after the chicks or eggs were removed. Eggs are removed if they haven't hatched in 2 months and chicks get removed so they can learn to eat from us. Cleaning the nests is not fun considering it is a pile of guano that is turned super hard and stuck to the rocks. It is hard work and it stinks and you have to keep the penguins from trying to steal it (they always want more nesting material, no matter how much they already have). But once it is all clean and we can give them nice fresh Lucerne, it is definitely worth it.
Evening Jiu Jitsu went well. Coach told one of the purple belts (above my blue belt) to watch me if she didn't know what to do! That's a big compliment from him! And yoga was badly needed. Food choices were good and well in budget.
It's good to end the month in a positive manner.13 -

Good day here at the farm.
Since the CV19 emergency, I've had to upgrade my home office. It was always just an occasional use spot. Now, it's my primary office. I've added more lighting and a side table. Next week, hopefully, I"ll get a scanner and some PC updates. Step by step it's getting better.
Yesterday and today, I had no problems logging in and working within MFP.

Pass Day #3. Still (just barely!) in the Winners' Circle if tomorrow goes well.
Exercise - Yes - 5.2 mile brisk walk
Tracked - Yes
Calories - No - went over with a lot of snacking plus meals, felt hungry all day and uncomfortably full at night. About 400 calories over goal (not a catastrophe for one day), but I don't like how I felt today because of my food choices.
I didn't expect today to be a pass day. When my friends cancelled our lunch plans last-minute, I had a snack and thought I'd be ok, but that definitely didn't cut it! I kept snacking throughout the day, which used up all my calories, but by the end of the day I felt like I was starving! I craved a real meal - then after that real meal, I felt uncomfortably full. Yuck. I think nutritional needs, emotional eating, and the sensation of having eaten a meal vs. snack foods all played a role, but I'm not sure in what proportions. Regardless, I'm realizing how important my routine is for success.8
