And even if you are at June Pass #4-or-more ... but you are reading this because you are still showing up .... that is fantastic too!
Looking forward to seeing both familiar and new faces on the July 1 thread tomorrow.
National Holiday potential Pass Day fast approaching. (Canada Day - July 1 for me/ other Canadian members and July 4 for all you USA members on the near horizon) Plan now how you will choose to approach it! Do so safely as per whatever your local conditions might be!
Any other national / cultural days in July in other parts of the world?
(and then there are the personal family&friends circle potential-passes if there is a birthday / anniversary or suchlike on your July calendar .... )9 -
Although I missed the circle this month, it was not by much and I'm ending off on a good note. A busy day at work followed by some real Jiu Jitsu (not the zoom kind). It's a tough group but I'm happy with how I rolled (until my asthma won) but even that was a lesson because it was related to an aspect of my game that I'm working on with coach. Learning how hard I can push in certain ways is part of the game, and that is always evolving as well so by testing my boundaries, I will sometimes push too hard. I love this game so much, even the hard parts. Then we did yoga and our friend's 2 year old joined in. She is very cute.
Decent food choices for the day and well within budget. My watch gave me over 500 exercise calories and I didn't even wear it for the rolling!10 -
And I managed three yesses again for the last day of June! Stayed within my calories (just), logged everything, and did some exercise - a socially distant walk with a friend who walks much faster than me, so felt like a workout!
I think this is the longest I've managed to keep to consistent logging (almost a month) and the MFP community really helps keep me motivated and checking in. Thank you so much for organising this @RangerRickL. I feel like whatever I do, I always start out with good motivation and feeling committed, but sticking to it for a second month may be tougher - I hope carrying on with the UAC will keep me going. See you in July!12 -
Ending the month with another pass day.
Not sure why, but I was just so hungry all day and felt completely drained of energy.
Started off tracking everything, but by this evening I gave up.. so definitely over the calories
Exercise was only a 1.5 hour dog walk.
But Wednesday is one of my running mornings, so I'll be starting the month off strong!
This group has been a huge help for me this month. I'm definitely motivated to be in the winners circle for July!8 -
3 x yes again today. Finishing strong and feeling really proud.
Thank you for this group... I really didn't think it would make a difference but I've been really consistent.9 -
3 more yeses from me today - so i'm in the circle! Exercise was 30 mins yoga and two 45 min walks, even though it was raining a bit this evening it was lovely to get out after a busy day of work.
This has challenge has been such a big change for me - honestly i wasn't even managing to log past lunchtime before June, my shorts were so tight they were pinching me and i could barely sit in them, i was about to order more in the next size up, I'd put on 7lb since lockdown started. Now my shorts are fine, my jeans need a belt to stay up and the lockdown pounds have gone. It seemed to fall off at the start but has only been a pound this last two weeks. But I've stuck at it, would never have been motivated to without this group, hopefully i'll cruise past this plateau soon. July here i come, see you guys there! Thanks for the motivation to all of you and especially @RangerRickL for running the group.

Congratulations to the otherwise persistent. On the last day of the month I pulled it off to get my Strava climbing merit badge.
Don't know why I want that so much.
The silliness of a digital patch or trophy.
But I got that climb badge for the last 3 months.
7500 meters of climb. I think that rounds up to 25,000 feet.
I lost a couple of pounds.
Sad to say but I still haven't lost all of my "winter weight" yet.
Ugh. How soon till winter?9 -

I've lost 6 lbs this month! I suspect I've gained some muscle too, so those 6 lbs feel extra meaningful. Thank you to all of you for helping me stay on track!
