Many of our team members who are not technically in the Winner's Circle have reported lots of pounds and inches lost this month. Each one of them reports that they feel like Winners too. And they are!!
Congratulations,

Welcome to new and returning members of the Ultimate Accountability Challenge.
This group is a welcoming team of supportive and caring people. Some are here for weight loss. Some are here for maintenance. Some are here to develop healthier habits. Although, this group is set up to recognize monthly achievement by earning a spot in the Winner's Circle, in truth, this is a team focused on just getting incrementally better at building healthy habits for a lifetime. Some will; some won't; some leave; and some always return. It's a safe place to be for as long as it works for you.
Welcome to the July UAC team,
Rick11 -

@Chinkiri, thank you very much!! It will be a low key day for us, as my husband is still really busy at work, but he IS home today!! A walk is imminent, and that is about it. We will put something on the barbecue, but we always do anyways when hubby is home!!4 -
Congratulations to everyone in the Winner’s Circle! Well done.
Happy Canada Day - Might be different this year but low key celebrations appear to be in.

Yes
you will probably mostly be either earliest or one of our earliest ... depending on when 'Japan" logs in that particular day.3 -
Good day. Later run as I actually slept a bit later, but it's rest day after a tough shift so that's not a problem. Shopping to stock up on fresh supplies and I avoided all the temptations which meant good food choices for the day. Well under goal for the day, which was partly motivated by hitting my next mini weight goal. 6 or 7 kgs to go until the big goal!
My housemate abandoned me for her boyfriend so no zoom class tonight. You can't do Jiu Jitsu by yourself...11 -
@HASWLRS (and any other Canadians .... or other nationalities that want to join in too ... )
here's a link to what the NCC is putting on around Ottawa, including virtual fireworks on a surround-sound scale. I will be going back and reading the fireworks part in more detail ...

Try googling "Canada Day [your part of the country]" to see if there are other more local things you might check out ....6 -

The emus (outside our front door) say "Happy Canada Day .... see? You CAN still have fun while remaining socially responsible!" (they have considered masks mandatory for a while now ... in case eventually the humans have to, and parents with young children can point to them and say "See, they are too!")
DH and I very much enjoy being "the eccentric auld pair on the block" Mother's Day it was a bunch of construction paper tulips each (again, all while masked)

I don't normally miss the weather back in the UK, but here it was already more than 20° when I went out for my run at 7am. I am going to have to start getting up mucj earlier to go (an idea I'm not that keen on.. but a sacrifice I need to make!)12 -

So glad to be back here again this month. June was about getting back to keeping track and accountable. For the fist time in the 2 1/2 years (off and on) I did not take a a pass day. I would see people do it... but lets face it for most of us the three pass days are hard enough. What I like about this challenge is it's there for you when you need it. If you meet your goals (although staying on makes more sense) or have other issues that you leave the challenge for a while you can always pop back in.
The motivation from the group is contagious...thanks!!
Being here helps us to focus on what we can change. I like that😉

They actually "live outside" all the time, next to our front door ... always plain-masked these days, but 'special event" additions (like the canada-day extras) are only there for a day or three ... and then some different construction-paper "theme-additon" for the next holiday. St. Patrick's Day Leprechaun hats, bunny-ear dilly-boppers over the Easter Long Weekend etc.3 -
Logged tracked did spin 5.5 miles so I guess I got my exercise Happy Canada Day to my neighbor north of the border5
