I crashed in energy before we were supposed to leave to go and train. I did consider using the penguin pool cleaning as my exercise but I try and get training in outside of work in some form. Removing nests after chicks are reared is hard, dirty work especially when you have to do it ducking under the roof and dodging penguins who are not happy with you, but it needs to be done and looks so much better when we finish. However, I did walk around the house for 30 minutes while my food cooked watching motivational videos on YouTube and then spent an hour working through the book I need to finish (it's supposed to help me with some of the mental aspects of my Jiu Jitsu game).
Ate fairly well today and under calorie goal so all three goals met today.
Tomorrow is cleaning the baby penguin area and swimming to clean the seals Island plus disinfecting everything before the next shift so it's going to be a busy day. But then I'm off for 10 days!13 -

This is our 41st wedding anniversary❣️❣️
We walked this morning & will go for a hike in a state part later when it’s cooler.
Everything in my body wants to go eat out at a favorite place, but we are not. Safety first!
Instead my husband has swept, washed, and disinfected the table and arbor area in back & a week ago I purchased ingredients for what we each would have ordered.
We’ll eat outdoors which we never seem to do & make it a special time here at home with our charming “fairy lights” and some music!

Yes x 3. Exercise was a long walk. I think I am starting to feel a bit fitter, but I’m struggling with food intake, seeing exercise more as a means to ‘earn’ calories. Oh well, something to work on.8

Squeezed through!
Exercise: Yes, 40 minute walk, no class, no pool, too hot to do much more
Calories: Yes, just. Went out for drinks with friends and while I had factored a couple of glasses of wine into today's eating, I had forgotten (?) we were meeting on the terrace of a pizza restaurant. With the utmost willpower I managed to limit myself to just two slices. Hard, because the pizza just kept coming...
Tracking: Yes, logged everything.
Was nice, but I think I am looking forward to a 'normal' day tomorrow!

Exercise was 45 minutes on the ring fit. Long day at work today marking lots of online tests so was a bit worried I might not be able to squeeze any exercise in. When I got into it though it was really nice to do something not test marking.8 -

I haven't done any running for a while, so I decided to ease back into it ( especially with the heat and humidity ) with the C25K app that I've previously used.
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, 31 minutes C25K and 22 minutes walking.

Today was rough. One of the ladies in my department got the virus and has been down for weeks. Her husband unexpectedly passed today. He was her whole life and best ever friend. 💔😭

32 minute HIIT, 12 minute yoga. I have now exercised for 10 days straight! I'm starting to feel it, I haven't done a "real" workout where I use muscle resistance and cardio in a while and it's got me wiped out today. But tomorrow I'll hopefully go for a walk, but if not I'll probably use tomorrow as a rest day with super low impact activity.
Pretty low on calories today but I'm not that hungry for some reason. I at least got in adequate amount of protein to recover for today's workout & I'll try to catch up tomorrow.

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, 3 x 12 reps each of "5 basic must-moves for seniors" (henceforth to be shortened to "The Fit-Five" plus pacing through the rest of an hour-long listen-in teleconf. 9860+ steps on the day
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yep - didn't go into the 26 fitbit credit calories, even with the evening snack
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yep - managed to find the Cartier's Irish Cream wine-based liqueur (SLIGHTly less rich than a Baily's version - and this one has a hint of "s'mores" flavour.
If you don't already know what s'mores are (and we have people from all over the world here so it is possible) just ask. Simple, decadent camp-fire treat.
