Yes, yes, and yes.
My NSV today is kind of scale related. I had my % body fat measured and found I am at 16%. First time for me, so I have no idea where I started. For a man my age that is apparently pretty good, in the "lean" category. Now I am going to start thinking about transitioning from weight loss dieting to maintenance. A big step for me, I will take it a little slowly. I am pretty happy!16 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? 33 minutes of barre leg strength + 2 mile treadmill walk this morning
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes and under
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yep!10 -

Exercise yes 10 min quigong, 30 min strength training, 30 min cleaning had planned on gardening but rain stopped play...

Nsv's had to put a belt on my hiking trousers, going a bit heavier with the weight training, have tweaked my settings back to more active as work is getting back to normal so will only be logging cleaning if I do more than 4 hours, sleeping like a log

* Hiked 6.2 miles today effortlessly in a beautiful redwood forest. I remember when I was 70 lbs heavier. I did a much shorter hike in the same park and struggled with the steep parts.
* My average steps in July so far are 13,700 (up from 9,610 in June) and my average minutes of exercise is up 31 minutes per day.
* I have faced health uncertainties with strength, perspective, and Gratitude. Things are fine at the moment, but the future is almost all out of my control. What I can control is exercise, food choices, sleep, and stress/mindset.
* SO, I gave 2-weeks notice on a short-term, part time job that ended up being more like full time & noises were being made to make it long term. To reduce my stress, and because I NOW place my health as my highest priority, I took action & as nervous as I was, gave notice. I immediately felt better. This was a first for me.
* I mopped all the wood floors - vigorously- for 2+ hours happily. I never could have done the whole house - twice- before I lost weight & became fit.
I’m very grateful to all of you on this journey with me.

This month my NSV is that I'm getting faster with my running. (I'm not fast by any means, but faster than when I started). I'm not consistently under 6mins per km. I generally like to run 8-9km, so next I need to find an extra part to add to my loops to bring it over 10km.
Exercise? Yes, 9km run, 3.5 hours walking my dog.
Calories on budget? Nicely under

I just barely made my calorie count. Yesterday I had the coronavirus blues so my boyfriend brought me some Olive Garden lasagna tonight to cheer me up. It was delicious but I should have saved half for tomorrow.
I had eaten light the rest of the day but it still put me over. As soon as he went home I turned on the new MAFS and ran in place to earn some extra calories. I did it! I'm not sure what is so motivating about this challenge but it works for me.11 -

I love reading everyone's NSVs. I enjoy the inspiration provided by reading through them.
My NSV this month was the realization that if I did not get back on track with my healthier lifestyle I would be back to where I was when I started on this journey back at the end of August last year. Although I have been staying within my caloric limits my food choices were poor. I can see the effect on my body - more jingling than firmness. Basically fat = fat; lean = lean.
It's important for me to realize this is a journey. A journey is filled with ups and downs and many learning experiences along the way. A slip is not a fall unless I allow myself to continue downward.

NSV - I just reached healthy BMI. It took a long time but I am learning that I don’t have to get what I want overnight. I have time. I feel so much stronger. Now, when I finally do get to see him again, my 4 yo grandson won’t be able to poke me in the belly and yell “squishy” for all to hear. Also, by consistently lifting weights and staying hydrated my veins have improved and the IVs for my monthly infusions are not painful in the least — well no more than a slight toe curl. I’ve also been focusing on balance and am happy to say I can stand on one leg while doing all manner of contortions.

Walking or walk/run over 3 miles along beach cliffs, with my dog, almost every day this month. I'm not losing any weight, but I'm getting stronger, my mood is better, and I'm sleeping.

I was unable to get on last night to post.
My NSV is how much I as am enjoying my power walks. I've been able to stay in cardio for a good portion of my walks without getting tired and also going longer without getting too winded. Now I really look forward to doing them.8 -

NSV this month is that I've been really focusing on my fruit and veg intake (normally manage about 10 portions) and I've been feeling really good about that. At the moment my food is the healthiest it's ever been but also really tasty.7 -

I have only had a fitbit model that "counted floors" since ~ Jan 2020 .... so I'm probably NOT EVEN at "airliner cruising height" yet LOL2 -

I had my 180th day of tracking on the 15th. I lost 6% of my body weight...and am aiming for 10% more by day 365.6 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? - yes 50 minutes on the stationary bike, and planning on trying a 10 minute "Before Bed" Pilates routine by Rachel - "The girl with the Pilates Mat" on Youtube. (I also found a 10 minute "Start Your Day" routine by the same lady but have yet to try it.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? - yes, both for MFP AND the fitbit total burn once the bike session registers
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? - yesindeedy-doo

NSV: Actually continuing to explore moving away not only from Wii-based brisk-walk/jog on mini-trampoline exergame, but also beyond solely CARDIO exercise options. Using my stationary bike in the basement for more intense burn-per-minute work AND starting to explore pilates youtube videos now that I have found a sympatico "instructor". (still not consistently working on the body-weight resistance work yet, but I figure active work on alignment / balance / range of motion instead of only-cardio is still moving in the right direction.
Also the more-often-than-not evening extended walks with DH most evenings too.
Thanks for the DM’s and advice about Pilates for knee pain. So encouraging- it’s helped be get back to my walks again inspite of the knee ache and am definitely going to try the exercises for the pain . It looks very doable .3 -

I love the Fitbit badges. It always comes as a surprise when it pops up, but makes me smile! The last one I got was for floors too! The Satalite badge. 35,000 floors.
