I think they can be a nice addition to an otherwise healthy diet, although they are not an end-all-be-all solution. I often add things like spirulina powder or alkaline greens to some of my smoothies or lemon water. Super high in vitamins to support immune function and digestive health.

I use green powders as a enhancement not necessarily as a vegetable replacement. I think of it as insurance for minerals etc. I use a variety including blue green algae and seaweed for extra iodine. Spirulina also has protein and beta carotene which is nice.
(Blue green algae in chia pudding - awesome! )
Re:bioavailability - Depends on the green powder. I’ve read tests that say a powder such as Chlorella has good absorption of C, beta carotene, lycopene etc.. I like doing a mixture and make sure it’s been purity tested for lead and heavy metals.
A read for green powders and nutrition -

I do use them every so often, not every day. They are a supplement for me. I like spirulina a lot because I think I can feel the energy from it, and I also use also yerba matte green powder and collagen powder.0
