I am so excited for this challenge and to lose more weight. Let's check in and support each other on this month's journey.
Day 4 of August and so far so good. I have walked every day and have been okay living within my MFP goals. I may not do 20 pounds this month....but will definitely reach for 8.
Any good low cal recipies out there to help stop food boredom? What is everyone doing to develop a healthier life style?

Hello, so I’ve been on MFP for 2 years now. I’ve lost 21 pounds so far, with another 20 left to lose. To be honest, I was doing great until January when my son got sick and was in the hospital for a while, then we got out and the pandemic hit and shut down our state, and since then I’ve just been trying to get through each day, let alone focus on weight loss. I know that I need to get back into focusing on my health and I need an accountability group so here I am!
Starting weight: 1451 -
Hi All! I'm 53 and have had 4 hip surgeries with a replacement being the last one I had in June. Since they all started in summer 2018, I've put on 35 lbs! I'm pre-diabetic and am determined to take back control of my health (physically, emotionally and with God's help, spiritually). I've started back to hiking and have gone twice this week. I've decided to juice for the most part.
Start weight as of 8/3: is 257 (the most I've ever weighed in my life). I will post every Monday.1 -
