7. What happens if I "slip up"?
Well, mistakes happen. The challenge is to be mindful of your fitness plan every day for a month. If you slip up for one day and you have used all your allowable Pass days, you will not qualify for the monthly Winner's Circle. BUT, we encourage you to stick with us and your goals. Nobody gets tossed out of the UAC. It's a long-term life change that the UAC is promoting.
8. What if the moderator “slips up”?
The moderater, @RangerRickL, does not always qualify for the Winner's Circle. Since I don't always qualify...you can certainly be forgiven if you don't qualify.
9. What do I get if qualify for the monthly Winner's Circle?
You get the satisfaction of knowing you adhered to your fitness plan for a solid month. You also get your username posted in the "Winners' Circle" thread, which is posted at the beginning of the following month.
YOU...are the one who will let the moderator and the team know if you have qualified at the end of a month. I'm not running a daily Excel spreadsheet.11 -
A beautiful spring day here in South Africa so it needed an ocean swim. The plan was to nip out from work and meet my friend but working with animals can be unpredictable so it was a flexible plan. Today was busy and chaotic although we do have three new penguin chicks in the colony which is great. I finally finished the day and desperately needed the sea swim so dragged my housemate to our favourite beach even though it requires getting over a big dune to get there and back. Totally worth it, although I’m exhausted now (I also did a rehab session before work). Last day of shift tomorrow and I’ll be well rested by then!
Good food choices today and within budget.
A couple of highlights from today. My scale dropped below 75kgs again. I’m waiting for it to be consistently under that to celebrate, and the reward I have planned is only for reaching goal of under 68kg by next year. Still it’s nice to see it dropping again. Also heard that my judo club will be sharing space with my Jiu Jitsu club and both will be opening soon. Can’t wait to get back to regular classes for both of them!15 -
Today will be a pass for me. It's not been a terrible day, but my calories will be way over and I'm yet to do any exercise.

We were short handed at work today, so I was behind beds for 429 minutes. Whew! Tracked everything, will be way under today on calories. Knocked out 13,103 steps and my feet are feeling it! Have the next six days off. Much needed rest.11 -
Today will be one of my pass days.
We are on vacation in a cabin for the weekend. I am eating very mindfully, but some of the things are hard to track honestly, since it is being delivered.
This is my first month and I knew that 2 days would be iffy. I am happy that they are worked a few pass days in to make this challenge realistic and doable.14 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? No -- I have a virus and am lying around at home, quarantined since I had a COVID test this morning. This seems like a regular old virus, nothing unusual (I can taste all my popsicles!). Should know Monday or Tuesday.

Yes x 3 for me today, but it was a challenge since my day was really, really crazy. How do you even log searching the yard for a package the neighbors dog may have stolen, or walking back and forth across a parking lot because our car broke down. On the bright side I missed a meal during my adventures, so my calories were really low....and it's all good now.9
