I hope everything goes smoothly this morning with tech, Dennis!
We don't have a service tonight because of the holiday. I plan to visit a friend's virtual WS this morning, then I'm taking another friend shopping for her birthday (I always get her a new outfit ... she's lost 133 pounds with WW and isn't very good at shopping on her own). Aside from that, it should be a pretty quiet day. Later this week I'm taking a quick trip to visit some friends in Ohio (don't say anything on social media, Lou ... I'll be surprising Marci! Hee hee!), and we have our annual family pic on Friday.
I hope you all have been good! We really enjoyed hanging out with Steph and Ron last weekend.0 -
Enjoy the trip, Lisa.
Braves Nd Nats Series has been a nail biter past few days for sure.
Great time with friends last night. Looking forward to lazy afternoon in pool and Nascar race tonight.

Morning BBB
It's cool here overnight but that makes the hot tub feel even better in the morning.
We have one guest checking out this morning so our virgin run at cleaning the cottage will be today. Homeowners will be home late tonight or tomorrow as there are 5 cottages to clean tomorrow.
Our room is on the basement so it's dark and cool. Hopefully not too cool this winter. We do have an electric blanket with when needed. She did say we could move the bed to the office upstairs but that is where she stores all the extra supplies and linens for the cottages so would make much more work on cleaning day. We will be here until November 1 then will move into one of the cottages.0 -
Good morning BBB crew.
Virtual church, still, here. There is a planned experimental outdoor service, next week. I don't think we will attend.
I watched Army vs. Middle Tennessee, yesterday. I think it's nuts to be playing college football, right now, but admit I miss watching.
We've been loving dishes made with beans from the garden lately. Rita has two varieties: blue lake, a "normal" green bean, and long beans - sometimes called asparagus beans. Both taste so much better when cooked right after they are picked. The Roma tomatoes are really coming in, finally, too. She'll have to start freezing produce, soon. We can't eat all that she picks.0 -
Mornin' BBB.
Working on the boat. Was going to hit the salt today, but engine was running a little rough. We'll see if pulling maintenance on her makes the engine purr.
Tomato harvest is slowing down here. Been eating as many tomatoes as I possibly can, but still giving away 4/5 's of what I pick. Beefsteak and giant varieties doing great, the cherry varieties not as productive this year.
I forget where in New Hampshire are you, Steph. I'm going to be in North Conway this weekend for a dog trial.

We are in the twin mountain/ Carroll area. I see north conway on the map is not too far. Shout out if you have the time to meet for a coffee or a meal.0

I'm back. Thanks for the good vibes Lisa. The technology worked well. Braves ended up splitting the four game series with the Nats. AND... temps in the 60s when I left this morning and highs in the 80s this afternoon. Yay!0
