Yesterday, @Dory_42 reported that she ran into a door while lurching away from a python.
My yesterday was not nearly as exotic, but did feature an unexpected outside exercise. While cutting down dead trees in our woodland, we knocked down a hive of hornets. They fly faster than I can run. Several of us were stung. No mortal injuries were reported. It was quite a scene as of us scattered in different directions.

Rick - Glad to hear everyone is OK. Hornets/wasps are very driven when disturbed!
Hope everyone has/had a great day!5 -
Just spent an age reading through everyone's posts for September. Well done, all of you! I've been out of things this week, as I was travelling and examining in Marseille and Nice. Lost Internet access at some point and therefore lost my 150+ day MFP streak as well.
I tried to eat sensibly and healthily, but logging is really difficult if you have to eat in restaurants all the time, buy food on the way etc. I managed to get in at least 20 minutes of walking every day, often (a lot) more, but was too tired at the end of long days to even log that.
Anyway, home for a few days and I will do my best to keep on track. Off to Marseille and Toulouse on Wednesday, same story as last week, but for the moment I am back!
I have to say that I am hugely grateful for the opportunity to go and work again, even if it is with social distancing and masks all the time!17 -

@RangerRickL I’m very glad the wasps didn’t succeed in their murderous rage! My day was peaceful in the animal front as I wasn’t at work. I did however see my friends animals which includes a goose, chickens and quails. Then our evening stroll was around the horses and cows that can be found 1km from my house (and I do actually live in the city).
I had a great day from a social perspective. On my morning run I bumped into a friend I haven’t seen since March and we caught up for the distance that our routes overlapped. Then yoga with my housemate. I then went round to friends where our small group meet for the first time since March. We watched the church service video together and had coffee and cake. It was wonderful to catch up and worship together again. I stayed for lunch and ate far too much but when I logged it all later it fits within my budget as long as I don’t eat anything else (but I’m still stuffed so that’s not going to happen)! A couple of hours to digest and then a farmland sunset stroll with my adventurous friend to end the day!
I hit double of my move goal on my Apple Watch today and have closed all three rings every day this week so I’m happy with that progress plus my scale showed the lowest number since about May 2019! It’s nice to be seeing the progress back towards fighting weight.11 -
My favourite photo from our sunset stroll just 1km from my city home!

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, a 25 minute walk in the woods. I might try to do some weeding in my yard at sunset -- will see. I seem to be over my virus but don't want to push it.

Reflections on the first week: I've already used up two pass days, but I have also exercised four days out of six and that's more consistency than in a very long time so overall I'm happy with how it's gone so far. I'm also halfway through my two week post travel home isolation; another seven days and I'll be allowed to go outside again and I really can't wait!

I do love nature...but I reallllly hate being stung. Glad noone happened to be allergic...or got seriously injured running away. I do like the idea of using drones with robotic arms to remove hornet nests... but others like to use drones with flame throwers on them. I've seen those on YouTube. Anywho - many of you have been "busy bees" on here today. I've been watching my little pup like a hawk...but when we got to the vet...she thinks we can wait a few more days before doing additional testing or xrays. Hope she is right... My goal is to walk my dog clients after it cools down a bit. I am within calories, tracked everything and yes, exercised - but will get more. Same goes for the 5th - if I didn't post.
Side note and PSA: Learned something important.... sauces from Raising Cane's....are TERRIBLE FOR YOU. 190 calories and 19 grams of fat! Haven't eaten there in AGES...but kids wanted it for dinner...so off to the park we went. As I logged what I ate... I almost fainted!6 -

Hi everyone, It has been a very active weekend here, I helped one of my kids paint their room, and did a lot of cooking, and cleaning. I am proud of myself for staying within my calorie goals this entire weekend, since it is usually something I struggle with. For some reason I am just more hungry on the weekends. I ate over my calories at lunch so I had to even it out by cutting out some of my dinner. My poor little salad had just 5 chickpeas on it, but I ended my day with 11 calories left over, so it was a good day.8

This is my 3rd pass day.
Last day of my vacation! I have enjoyed every minute! I knew I would be using 2 to 3 of my pass days right away when I signed up, so I am good.
Now to buckle down tomorrow and see how well I can do. This is my first challenge!11 -
