Last day of my vacation! I have enjoyed every minute! I knew I would be using 2 to 3 of my pass days right away when I signed up, so I am good.
Now to buckle down tomorrow and see how well I can do. This is my first challenge!
The first few months are the "figuring out / gathering data" times... and "Pre-Season Training Camp" for the October Winner's Circle if how you frame the rest of the month if you have to.
I had to for both July and August.7 -
Yes x3

Easy day active stretching and walking
Calories; Under my limit be enough
Tracking: that is the most important ingredient and it was ok8 -
Yesterday and today, both. Been having problems accessing the group on my tablet, but I nailed both days.
I am on Mamma Cat duty round the clock. A newborn kitten (complete with fresh umbilical cord) was abandoned under our porch Friday afternoon. My husband heard her distress cries, thinking, initially, it was one of the ferals on his way out to the store, but when he came home, the cries were louder, and did sound distressed. He called me out front and I expected a whole other litter, but there was just one abandoned kitten. We left it alone, and read up on what to do if the mom didn’t come back. After four hours we went out and she was still there; no litter mates, no mom, no nothing, so we took her in.
I’m bottle feeding every 2-3 hours and all of the other grooming things mamma would do. She’s 3 days old now, and thriving, cord is drying up and I’ve started monitoring her weight.
She looks to be a calico, so more than likely is female, as most cali’s are, but it will be a couple of weeks, yet, before we know for sure.
I’m glad I’m off of work until Thursday and am teaching the hubs to do what needs to be done for my last three work days.12 -
Well it's official... I will not be in the winners circle. Not proud of this but will continue to post daily and try to meet my goals. Keep up the good work everyone
I believe the real point of the Ultimate Accountability Challenge is to help us work on healthy habits and a healthy lifestyle. The winner's circle is the monthly carrot. By all means, continue to post and try to meet your goals -- that's truly positive.

@juliemouse83 Oh, my goodness, how dear and sweet she is -- and how lucky you found her and are willing to help her. Good luck with this little girl.5

Today was slower! But a great day nonetheless! Started with worship, then home to burgers on the grill, then a movie with the kids, then moving some rock around the shed, my abs will thank me tomorrow! Moving rock is not easy! But it looks pretty! Finished the day sitting out in the yard with the ladies! (My chickens)
Yes to all 310 -
Yes to all three. Four hours of yard work and home projects. Vegan broccoli and cheese casserole and a huge salad with gauc! Great day!10

We took on an additional account because our subcontractors needed more work. We have a small Janitorial business with accounts in Middle TN and West KY...not so easy living in East TN. We have been working on it since Friday finishing up Monday. We are mostly retired or so that was plan.. it's hard to turn down work when you know good people need it and it's in your power to provide it for them. All in all the cleaning work has been good to us allowing my husband to do consulting geology work for many years which is what he loved to do.
The good part is commercial cleaning is very physical so you burn a lot of calories working..
Getting back after an absence of logging in a good portion of last month. Really missed it.9 -
Have had some computer issues but luckily can still log food on my phone. For some reason I cannot access the community pages from my phone though - even though I am definitely logged in as 'me'. Oh well. I am following the mantra of consistency now. I actually enjoy my daily swim/ once a week long walk. I am getting a teensy bit bored with my food menu though so I think it is time to look on some healthy recipe pages!
YES to all 3.9 -
Exercise : Yes . Was proud I actually did my yoga /workout routine on my own. Usually I attend an live online class with my super teacher Rayomand .
Calories: Yes . Was careful not to gorge on my latest obsession - a sandwich with chocolate sprinkles.😔
Counting: Yes .
It helped that yesterday morning was sunny and bright. The monsoon can get a bit boring and grey. However by the evening we had a thunderstorm with the loudest thunderclaps I have heard in a very long time. Sounded like a bomb outside my front door.

Last week was a horrible week for me. Major issues with my abusive ex. I did not track or even try to track calories or exercise. While this disqualifies, as it should if I am going to be honest with myself, I am not going to let that stop me from posting and developing healthy lifestyles habits again. Which is my goal for September - to stay active after I became disqualified. I just gotta keep moving forward8

@KCJen Good for you. A healthy lifestyle is what the UAC is all about. You're a member of the team here regardless of making the winner's circle. Sending you my support across the miles.
I have 2 pass days already due to being sick this week and probably won't make the winner's circle either, but I intend to keep posting here regardless. This is a landing spot where I remind myself every day that my life is worth the effort.

Must use my first "pass day." But still, only 100 calories over, not going to sweat it.5

@karenesg You area wise woman! I have a hunch (having been in UAC for 2.5 years) that success is tied more to the daily postings, not the Winner’s Circle. The daily postings are what keep us mindful & keep our important habits thriving!
You have LOTS to be proud of!4 -
