Hey everyone I'm new to the group ^_^ To try and stay motivated and accountable I decided to publicly post my losses each week. If you want to join in please do! I'd love to celebrate those losses with you! This is the standard format I'll be using;

Name: (if you'd like to share)

My Numbers:
SW: Starting weight before you lost anything.
CW: Current weight at the beginning of the challenge.
GW: Goal weight for the month (what you would like to weigh at the end of the monthly challenge) Try to keep it realistic and SAFE!
LTGW: Lifetime goal weight ( What you would like to weigh at the end of your weight loss journey)

Weigh-ins: What days you will weigh-in; for example, Fridays
9/4/20 = (Fill out after each weigh-in.)
9/11/20 =
9/18/20 =
9/25/20= (final weigh in for the month)
Total WL/G for the month= total weight lost or gained for the month

Let's get it!😎🌞🌈💥

    While you are in a calorie deficit you will lose weight from energy stores each day and certainly weekly. However, the scale will not go down each week. Sometimes, despite doing everything "right" the scale stay the same or even go up. This is because your total body weight fluctuates for reasons other than fat. In fact, fat has the least impact on the scale in short intervals of time. Water has the biggest impact and it can make you gain 4 pounds one day and lose 5 pounds a few days later. Fat loss always shows up eventually. I can go nearly 3 weeks with no losses and then lose a crazy amount as the scale finally catches up.

    It is for this reason the scale is not a great motivator. If you think this will help please go for it. Sometimes it just takes getting started. I hope you will stick around though and we can celebrate your NSVs that will begin happening pretty soon as you begin to lose. To me they are much more interesting and affirming than numbers on a scale because they represent how your life is changing for the better.

    I kinda like the idea, I just like to see how I trend and stuff! I'll probably join in next Monday since that's my weigh in days, and I forgot to weigh in this week because i was thrown off my routine with the holiday :p

    Same :) I've never been demotivated by staying the same on the scale if I feel I'm doing well. I just find it really nice to see it written down. If you fancy joining in I'll keep posting then, thanks a lot ^_^
