    Morning

Checking out of hotel. Not sure what *kitten*show was playing out in hallway and room next door but it involved a lot of subjective language and I’m calling the cops. Oy!!!!!

Trekking home. Long drive. It’s raining. Ugh.

    Lou - how’s folks?

Lee - how are you and the family doing? Thinking about you.

    Good morning BBB crew.

Spent much of the day, yesterday, cutting and loading really big, heavy pieces of a giant maple tree. Sometime in the future, one of the pieces will become a bowl or vase that gets presented to the owner of the tree (a friend of DDIL). I always try to give a turned piece to whomever gave me the wood.

Lots of heavy rain, today. This is the first "fall" storm of the year, they say. A good day to spend in the shop or watching football.

    Morning BBB.

Traffic in the area was a nightmare yesterday. Attached photo was a motorhome on fire just ahead of us. Thankfully fire truck was just ahead at another accident so responded quickly. We were able to cut across and took the back roads home. Low key hike that isn't popular with tourists as there was no mountain top view.

Rained last night and cooler today. Might go jump in the hit tub soon.

    Good Morning BBB.
Tom is not coming home until the 25th - he is hitting a Widow's Sons rally in AL on his way back. Makes sense but we are ready for him to be home.
Kelly - did you crack open your birthday bottle?
Mary - how was your "pre" birthday dinner?
Bill - travel safe - can't wait to hear about what your learned and saw in Wilmington
Lee - thinking of you and your family.
Steph - stay safe and away from the crazy drivers!
    Do good out there everyone.

    Mornin' BBB.

Family stuff. A wee bit of drama. Not terrible.

At a trial this weekend. Babe went out of her mind yesterday in the first series. Second series better but it was too late. Damage done. Early exit.

Today, she is listening better but still borderline out of control. Good first series. Let's see if we can duplicate it in the second.

Hotels can be interesting. Hope there was no violence.

    Nasty fire. Steph.

    ...and I'm back.
    • Church broadcast went well.
    • Babe has that "sorry Dad" look. Now my dog is more predicable. She's out of control all the time.
    • Nothing like an RV Flambé. How 'bout that Subaru in front of you? Nice color.
    • I had to look up Widow's Sons. Kinda like Legion Riders for Masons.
    • So, do we get a Wilmington real estate report?

Found a few properties we like. Got a good idea of potential neighborhoods. Lots to digest. Another trek in spring to look again.

    Poor AB.

Been churched, Sunday school and hauled off trash
18 y.o. spoke this morning as pastor is on vacation, excellent speaker; kept everyone's interest while stepping on a few toes. He is going to make a great evangelist.
DMIL is up the wall today, says she had a bad dream; we had wanted to get away for a few days by getting an adult sitter is harder than a child or dog sitter.
Need to get back to to completing yoga requirements, have to pass two more exams and complete project; may have to get Dennis to help when I get close to end since I have to submit a class that I lead as final project.
