We meet here to explore, share, celebrate and (sometimes) agonize over how we do (or don't) incorporate weight loss guidelines into our daily lives. "It's a lifestyle, not a diet" is easily and often said, but sometimes not so simply put into practice.

This is a thread for everyone. If you're new to GoaD, or to weight loss, your questions and comments are always welcome. If you're maintaining, or a long-term loser, your thoughts on the topic may be just what someone else needs to hear. If you're reading this, join in the discussion!

Each weekday, a new topic is offered up for discussion.

Today's Topic: Food finds.

What’s a recent food find or recipe?

Might have done this one not too long ago but I got a good one so here we are again.

Joseph’s Lavash Flat Bread pizza. Flat breads are 4 to a package. A half is 60 calories and fits in the toaster over. Some tomato sauce and some 2% mozzarella and I’m eating pizza for about 120 calories. Cut into 4 pieces.

I don’t do microwave dinners often, but the Trader Joe’s Spinach Paneer Tikka (correct word order?), as well as their Channa Masala are outstanding. I especially like the heat in the channa masala.

We don't do a lot of prepared items, but one of my latest finds is Seeds of Change Quinoa & brown rice. Yummy, and super quick. Have it with a seafood (preferably sea scallops, lightly sautéed, with 1/4 teaspoon of good maple syrup drizzled on top), and a big salad.

Speaking of TJ, I recently has their shrimp stir fry. 0sp, just shrimp, veggies and seasoning. Like $5 for 2 servings. And their spinach & kale gk yogurt dip.
