Fastest KB workout session (with no dumbbells). Shaved time off last Saturday's similar attempt (ETA: Nine minutes, to be exact 🤯).

Kind of early to be posting but kitchen is closed.

Went out for some climb early, crack of dawn type action.
Encountered that guy I see on a Saturday morning.
We talk too much and I don't end up climbing to my goal.
Still he is a pretty cool guy. He is 78 and is still an endurance athlete.
Him and I work on climbing the same mountain.
He runs up it. I bike up it. Not necessarily on the same route the whole way.
But we get together and we just yak, yak, yak.
All I got was 850 feet or so of climb. So I still need 3500 to get to my goal.
Weather is headed for worse. Month is closing out.
I obsess on this weird stuff.
That is how I am.
But I guess mostly I am having fun.
Fall is a done deal but I still like looking at my old pictures of it.

Hard to count anything as real exercise, though I was pretty busy doing things around the house all day. Getting ready for my wife's birthday party and then managing it. I ate well, and recorded all. It was a good day.8

Light exercise day for me but we did complete our new favourite version of a triathlon. Walk, swim (we went snorkelling) and coffee! Fun time with friends, out in the sun and ocean and then a small chocolate as a treat with the coffee.
All food logged and under goal. Plus this morning the scale dropped below 74 kgs for the second time! Yay, progress towards my fighting weight.6 -

I have been trying to be mindful of what I’m eating but when I get busy it’s more just grabbing. I have been sitting at a desk so no exercise. Nor have I logged. I did go grocery shopping yesterday so have more options. I’m going to take some of the advice I’ve been reading on here and start premaking meals so that when I grab something it’s planned and healthy.5 -
didn't log, but had LOTS of exercise today. My exergame has a built-in "daily participation award" ... you can make a rainbow each day ... it shows up in the gamestats if you made one or not.
So when I am gettng behind on the rainbows, I "pop into my tardis, and make the ones I missed"
This only works inside the game-world. I can reset the calendar of the Wii system so that it THINKS it is an earlier day (and my daily weigh-ins on a different game on the same system then say " last weigh-in: in the future") - make the rainbow - save and go forward one day - make the next rainbow - until either my feet have had enough for one session or I am caught up.
This far into the game (with the entire landmass available to brisk-walk around) it takes ~ 15 minutes to make one rainbow as all the parts that need collecting are well spread out.4 -
