Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes! I didn’t get my walk in but had a very good hour of laps in the pool this morning!
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes! It was tough tonight we went to our local Thai restaurant where the best dishes are really bad for you! But I got Pad Chicken and Vegetables in a light brown sauce, skipped the rice and had a forkful of the beau’s uber delicious chicken Pad Thai.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes!
Thanks for keeping me out of the candy this October RangerRick! And thanks for always being here when I get around to being accountable (not my best trait but working on it always!)

Quite a long list in the winner's circle. Truly impressive. If I recall correctly, I remember seeing @RangerRickL celebrate another impressive group. Those that come back Challenge after Challenge, whether that make it into the circle that month or not. Those are who I would like to aspire to be. Congratulations to all of them!3

Y'all, I swung a 25lb kettlebell 10,000 times this month. Did 20/12 DB drop sets too which added about a minute to yesterday's PR. I'll take it.
May do this workout again come springtime but with a 40lb KB if I can find one for less than $100. Will get the last of my planks for the month in tomorrow.3 -
@SModa61 Tomorrow night, before I do the discussion starter for November 1, I am going to go back through the last few day of the month to create a UAC Champions list. Our Champions are those who stick with the program and keep on posting. IMO: Tracking intake and exercise is the foundational healthy habit. It triggers thoughtfulness. Once we become thoughtful about what we put into our body, the rest of the habits will just fall into place.
I think that I will reprint this for tomorrow's discussion opener.6 -
Yes x 3 for Friday
Have my body a rest today but still did a really long dog walk. On track, on target, all good!4 -

Day 30
Weigh day is yay day!
Weighed in at goal weight after a nice strong ride.
Got some PR's.
Not in the circle but I ain't crying about it too much.
Think I only had 2 beers this month.
Not to say I didn't have other alcohol.
Guess I got to track that as much as anything.
My disfunction is hitting goal weight and then letting go.
Dorcas Lane might say "...my one weakness..."
Who is Dorcas Lane anyway?put a picture of my climb profile. I like how this climb amps up steeper to 11% right near the top. For the last seven months I've exceeded 25,000 of climb.
This month is my four year gps Strava tracking anniversary.
My tally is up to 965,000 feet. I might get to a million.
I think my knee will hold up. I am feeding it Glucosamine.
But I think I will take tomorrow off and play with Buddy.
Ladies at Target invited him to a Halloween Party.2 -
It’s been a crazy few days at work and my arms are covered in scratches from penguins who are upset at constantly being caught and force fed but they need medication so we stuck with it even though we hate stressing them out. Hopefully they will accept this and start eating from us again soon. Also had to move one of the tiniest penguins who has learnt how to escape the enclosure. One of the staff will increase the height of the rock wall before he goes back in. Crazy how the smallest one is the one who figures it out after years of housing penguins there.
My shift is done and I’m off for 9 days! Only 20 days of work left for the year if we stick with this shift system! Looking forward to having extra time to get in more yoga to loosen up my hamstrings which are causing some niggles in my knee.
Today’s exercise was only a calm yoga session before work but Friday and Saturday are my active rest days to gear up for Sunday to Thursday Jiu Jitsu sessions. All food logged and within the budget I set for the day even though it included take out. Bonus on that is that I was not that impressed by the KFC and will be less likely to get it again in the future.
Oh and the scale dropped below 73kgs for the first time since February 2019 which is a big reason to smile. Sticking to the plan works!8 -

Hi all,
I am not posting since Thursday. It was a holiday on Thursday and I took of Friday to get 4 days rest. I had a good rest for two days so far but food wise, things got out of control . There are 5 days to call "pass days" in total for this month. Anyway, I am back on track and I will close the last day of October with answering 3 x yes to the questions.5 -

I had been so impressed when I saw that you recognized both the Winner's Circle and the Champions (thanks for reminding me of the name I had seen). It's an attitude that makes me want to be a part of this group. Great people. Great attitudes.
