What is one thing that makes you happy?
I love to hike in the desert; ride a good horse; and take a deep breath in a forest.
And you?

Exercise? No! (no explicit exercise, but still tired)
In budget? No
Tracking? No
Date night. Korean BBQ. First meal out in many months. Did not bother to track tonight.
Also flew one of my RC helicopters for the first time in 3+ years. Flew well. Met up with a friend I made when I was in hospital last month. He is also doing well. (I had a mental "burn out" in September and was in hospital for 4 weeks. Crisis admission to hospital. First time in my life being in hospital as a patient).
@RangerRickL I like to walk in the forest, solve puzzles, be with my wife and fly RC models.11 -
I love to do Jiu Jitsu or spend time in nature or have good quality time with friends or read a good book or spend time with all my animals at work. All of those make me very happy.
Today I did yoga in the morning and went snorkelling with friends in the late afternoon. Food was good choices and all under budget. This included going out for brunch with my Jiu Jitsu coach, his family, our other black belt, my housemate and one of the purple belts. Coach took us out to thank us for looking after the club in the past couple of weeks while he was going through the first stage of recovery from knee surgery.11 -

Do one thing every day which makes you happy? yes - today is body clipping day and will be so much better to ride and bathe a short haired horse... LOL.9 -
I used to clip mine every winter, but at 58 I don't ride as hard or as often as I was did. So they get shaggy and I ride lightly during the evenings so they don't stay wet/cold overnight. Weekends I ride earlier and enjoy my babies. The hassle of blanketing and unblanketing is too much especially after seeing them nudging their blankies after pulling a saddle.7

Yes X 3 - exercise was walking in a hilly national trust forest.
Favourite exercise - either walking or running on a crisp morning. Also love rock climbing but am out of the habit this year due to Covid...9 -

The things I've done today that make me happy was talking to my family and baking! I used to be quite good at baking but after going plant based (at home at least) I've struggled with getting the hang of egg- and dairy free cakes. Today I succeeded with some very good vegan brownies, which felt like a great achievement 😊8 -
Pass.
Today we made an unplanned trip to the seaside. It was a beautiful autumn day. Helped to recalibrate.

What makes me happy? I would say I did it today. I put me first today. My husband went to grocery store while I got my 125 mins done on the treadmill listening to my music. Then by time he came back home and put everything away and ate his lunch I was done working out and showered. We took Buckley ( our Golden Retriever ) to the forest preserve and walked an hour on the paths in the beautifull weather. Having 70's in November in Illinois you take advantage of those days and get outside! Logging all my food while he is grilling out tonight and we got the fire pit going and some music on. It was a great day and mostly because the weather and that I decided if I could put me first once and enjoy my workout while he shopped, then we would have rest of day to spend together. I usually put off my workout and we go grocery shopping together, then we would have done all the other things together I mentioned above and it would have been to late for me to get on treadmill. I think he is understanding this change I am trying to make now.." Happy wife= Happy Life!13 -

Favorite summer activity is likely why I am here - probably "eating". I am not a summer person. Fall is my favorite. I am not a bright sun, heat, humidity, or water person. So of course it made a lot of sense that hubby and I bought a place in the Florida Keys last year. I think I'm going to need to find a better favorite summer "activity". :P

Ever notice how the universe has a way of seeing just how serious you are about achieving your goals? You get on a roll, (and last week was my roll), and up goes a roadblock. I tore the meniscus in my knee today after jogging for 15 seconds!! That's right....not minutes, but seconds!! I cannot straighten it or put weight on it so I was given crutches at the ER. The doc says it will heal on its own, but that it will get worse before it starts to get better! So...
