Today will be a calorie and tracking challenge, but I will do my best. I will report in later. I expect to use Pass #1 today as I know my calories will exceed my target. Goals for the day are to track as accurately as possible and to fit in the exercise despite knowing it will be a pass day.10

Did the 7 minute balance&flexibilty routine for the 3rd day in a row. No matter what happens at work, at least I started the day with a "win" (and prelogged the 3 main meals of the day, so that's a second "win")11 -

A successful day! Morning run, lunch with my friends who are finally back from Poland (they had to go back to sort out their visas and it took forever), afternoon nap because I can and evening Jiu Jitsu class.
I logged everything and was under budget. It’s good to get back on track.
Normal day here in South Africa although we seem to have adopted Black Friday. I don’t shop much at this time of year but did grab a good special on my protein powder and tomorrow will do online order for coffee beans.9 -

In the greater scheme of things, (so long as it remains the exception rather than the norm) .... one day by itself doesn't change much.
And CONGRATS on getting in the 45 minute walk! THAT (as a trend) will tend to counterbalance the odd heavy-calorie special occasion (which is why UAC has built-in Intentional Pass Days ... )5 -

So this is my 2nd Pass Day of November. But I was saving one pass for today, so no worries. It was 50 here this morning, so I did go outside and walk two separate walks today totaling 6.6 miles and 140 minutes. I hope all of my American friends had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes, walked in the nearby national park for 30 minutes to get some open sky and see the wild grass. A rest day.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? yes, turned down a Thanksgiving meal since I have massive exposure to the public during the week. I didn't think I should be sitting near others without a mask. Had yogurt, blueberries and coffee for dinner. Afterwards wore a mask and sat far away to watch a movie with the same people -- I was the only one wearing a mask.

Update: tacking on another 7,000 steps and 150ish exercise calories (which includes a literal sprint out the door in order to get to the store before it closed at 9 pm.
Why? An item I bought last week was on sale as a doorcrasher and I only noticed while casually scrolling through my phone after dinner.
There was no way I wasn't going to get either the difference in price back as a refund ($30+) or a second box.
I opted for a 2nd box, STILL got some money back and even had time to pick up stocking stuffers on my list...all before 9
Boom! The exercise over the past two months - especially those random Fartleks - really benefitted me today.
Saving money is my motivation 🤣4 -
