Since you are reading this on January 27, you are not like the person represented above.
Next month is usually our most popular month and it has the fastest drop-out rate too.
You are outstanding!
If you have less than 4 Pass days this month, you will be in the Winner's Circle. That is really really hard to do this month.
If you are still posting, then you will be with me in the Champions group. I like to think that is mighty important too.

Might be a typo in your post, @RangerRickL since this is still December.
Unfortunately I fell completely and utterly off the wagon from the 16th of December onwards. Went to see some family and unfortunately it resulted in multiple days of debauchery in the sense of little or no exercise and excessive calorie intake. We're back on our own now and doing much better but still, I used many more than my 3 December passes. My wife and I used measurements to gauge progress this month and today is the day we do it (every other sunday) so I guess I'll have to face the truth in a little bit.
I'll check in later but for the remainder of the month I do expect to handily come in below calorie target and exercise will not be an issue.9 -

Was hoping to keep my pass for nye celebrations ahh well i tried! I will say im still trying for winners circle but that may be hard to achieve drinking cocktails and eating pizza on nye with no more passes! 😂 We shall see how it goes!3 -
Today I got some form of exercise in by walking to feed my friends dogs and back but food was not good. This is progress as I have not exercised in nearly a week. I aim to get back on track this week!5

I got in some exercise today... a slow paced walk as I'm nursing a few aches & pains. I've not checked in in the last several weeks, have been measuring & logging sporadically, going over my calorie limit I'm sure. But I'm ready to get back on track this week too. Will definitely be here & aim for the Winner's Circle in January. Hope you all are staying well & enjoyed December's holidays!5

The meme above about Jan 1-3 was indeed ME for so many years. And not just Jan 1-3, but every start of a new week or month or whatever. So I applaud everyone here for not just disappearing when the going gets tough and sometimes just showing up is the most important thing of all.
and not just the horse gets all the attention at the barn. Xmas treats all round for the Orange sistahs Fluff and Slick.

Thank you for the support. I teared up a little. Reading everyone’s posts also reminds me that the struggle is real and I’m not alone.
Today is my first 3x’s yes in about a week. I just made it on calories thanks to pre-logging. It was a cold but beautiful day and I walked about 6 miles while catching up on some podcasts.7 -

The first day trying the second series of this workout routine (Weeks 5-8). I was so focused on the moves and getting form right that I didn't turn on my calorie counter until I was quite a few minutes into it. All that to say, I likely burned more than 139 calories. Will figure it out when I repeat the workout later this week.5 -

Today I did 20 minutes of Belly Dancing (YouTube), and then 20 minutes of Dancing to the Boy Bands (YouTube)! I really enjoyed the Belly Dancing and think that it will be an excellent workout for my abs and my belly!

As far as the meme goes, I don't make goals based on my diet any more. My goals haven't been diet focused for about 6 years, I guess. Nowadays, my goals are always involved with changing my behavior, which helps with my success on MFP.

In a normal (non-pandemic) year, I would have struggled with food during the holidays like many people. All that great food goes with social events. However, I've been socializing as little as possible because I'm exposed to the public at work.
Ten of my co-workers either have COVID-19 or are in quarantine because of their contacts with each other. So I stepped away from the social occasions this year because I don't want to expose my family and friends in case I'm asymptomatic. Instead, this has been a season for meditation for me. Hopefully, the vaccines will eventually turn the tide.4 -

I am also sure I would have used all my passes by now in a regular year since there are normally a few parties and family gatherings to go to during December but this year we stayed home and none of the parties materialized for obvious reasons.4 -
