@Wacekmama Terrific progress, good job! Also, don't be too alarmed about the scale dropping down rapidly at this point in your journey. When you consume fewer calories than your body burns, your body starts dipping into its stores of energy, known as glycogen. The glycogen in your body is bound to water, so when you’re burning glycogen for fuel, the body also releases that water.
This is why you might experience a major drop in weight during the first couple of weeks. Once your body uses up its glycogen stores, your weight loss should stabilize at a more sustainable rate.
Moreover, when we have a lot of weight to lose..our body is pretty glad to do so at first opportunity. And instead of viewing this as a fixed number of lbs, it might make more sense to use a body weight % goal. Generally speaking, sustainable albeit fast weight loss happens when we tend to lose 0.5% to 1% of our body weight weekly. If you are 389lbs, this means that a loss of close to 4 each week should not sound too alarming at this point.
Back on the Balkan front...good progress this week!

While I'm still not back at 145 this week, I'm making a goal of being at 144 by 2/1/21. I still didn't rid myself of desserts this week (the struggle is real!), but I'm going to try again this week, until I see 144! I know I can do this - I'm a healthy person, now. At least that's what I'm trying to tell myself!1 -

Those are some good goal @Wacekmama
One thing I loved, and it was kind of a game changer for me. I bought a cheap Withings Wi-Fi scale.
It keeps the little data points, and syncs up with MFP pretty easily.
Mentally it was great to break my thoughts on the numbers on the scale, and turn them just into data points on a graph were I can see my progress over weeks, or months. One little number on one day has too much power over my feelings, having them all collected 'magically via wifi' on a chart helped me to focus on bigger picture stuff.
You are doing great.
