Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes 30 min beach walk and lots and lots of house work. 8.40pm and just sitting down now. Actually i still hve 2 loads of washing to pack away but ill do that once i finish my cuppa.

Pre-tracked all meals with snacks.

I don’t really want to check in, not because I need a pass day (which I don’t thanks to morning yoga and evening Jiu Jitsu plus reasonable food choices which fit in my budget) but because the X-rays showed aggressive cancer and now I only have my kitten to cuddle, no dog in my house anymore. I know it was the right choice as he was in pain this weekend and it would just get worse, but it will take a bit of getting used to.24

@Dory_42 so hard.... my eyes are leaking with you today.
Yesterday I saw the most gorgeous buck. He was babysitting a small fawn. The sunlight was glistening off his antlers. He was so regal and it was still enough and he was close enough I could hear his clip clop as he followed after the fawn. He turned to look at me taking his photo several times as if to acknowledge the papparizzi. I think he must have been a grandpappa.

Monday 18th January:
3 x Yes, another good day. I managed a 45 minute walk, still beautiful sunshine and pleasant temperatures. Stayed under calories, but had lots of nice food. Logged everything, although MFP was very uncooperative. It was a productive day too: I got almost all my outstanding admin jobs done, had an interesting Zoom session with my Book Club, spoke to 4 adults and 2 children face to face, as well as a couple of cashiers! Starting on my British Tax form tomorrow....Ugh!6 -
@donna25trinity Where do you live? There seems to be a 10 hour time difference between your 8.40 pm and my 10.40 am in France... Australia?2

@Dory_42 so sorry to hear about your dog, so tough.
Long day here, but good. Three yeses and so much walking that my legs are still hurting, they are still shouting at me a bit if I do a long walk as they have become accustomed to being rested for a few months. Hoping when I wake up tomorrow they have forgiven me for today’s mileage!8 -

Stopped and took a pic at the end of today’s run. I’m normally an outdoor runner in nice weather only so I’m new to this outdoor winter running thing. Sadly our treadmill broke and I can’t stomach the cost of a replacement at the moment so I’m dragging my feet and running outside. I can’t figure out this “layering” of clothing thing in a way that doesn’t leave me too hot or too cold - but I’ll admit that this is way prettier than my view on my treadmill so overall it’s a win.

A view of the wind turbines near the Canadian border in NY I was on my way to the guitar shop. Tracked logged stayed under my exercise was snow shoveling again lol I did get my 6lb medicine ball so hope tomorrow to begin some core work hope the elbow holds!!7 -
