We proudly present our January 2021 Winner's Circle Qualifiers. This seemingly simple challenge is deceptively difficult. The accomplishments are noteworthy and significant. Well done!!!!!

The January UAC Champions...
The foundation of the UAC is to provide an accountability group to help each team member develop the healthy habits of daily exercise; thoughtfully measuring and recording caloric intake; a specific limit on caloric intake and daily journaling of the habits.
We are the accountability partners for each other!
Regardless of the number of Pass Days, any team member who regularly posts and keeps moving toward the UAC goals is considered a UAC Champion.
The January Champions are:

1) Pass days used: 0/3
2) Days Veganuary: 30/31

Goals UAC month 2:
1) Max. 1 planned pass day (20.02.21)*

Congrats to all the winners and champions!
Welcome newbies.
Three yeses for me, although I’m counting work as my exercise today. We drained and cleaned one of the seal pools which means sweeping loads of water uphill (why can no one design the pools properly?) and using the high pressure hose on the walls. This is much more physical than a normal day and of course all our normal duties were done in addition to this task. Back on track with logging and all under budget.
I only did kids Jiu Jitsu as I was absolutely exhausted. Came home early and gonna be asleep before my early bedtime! Only got 3 more work days left this week (benefits of lock down).10 -

Persevered even with COVID & the vagaries of our scales
Weighed their food even when they’d rather not
Didn’t give up!

Congratulations to all the Winners and Champions. You survived January the first month of the year.
Like @MaltedTea I always feel sad when the number of people checking in reduces to nearly half towards the mid of the month.
I will like to welcome the newcomers and encourage theme to please hang in there. This is a very supportive group. Those 3 daily goals are all you need to lose and also maintain. They are habits to keep you healthy and survive all life stresses.
Welcome!8 -
Every month I try to set these goals for myself. Sometimes I write it here and sometimes I just forget but it's in my memory.
Here are my personal goals for February:
1. Plan to be in winners circle (track everything as expected in this UAC)
2. Not more than 3 pass days
3. Stay honest (even if it puts me out of the circle for the month)
4. Forgive my mistakes (forgive myself) and don't leave the UAC for this month even if I failed
5. Encourage others where possible.
Following these goals was very helpful to me last month.
Looking forward to a successful February!

@RangerRickL Thank you for hosting the group!
This will be my second month of the UAC.
*I hope that intentionally planning a pass day (as opposed to using one when life gets in the way) does not defeat the idea of the UAC.
Intentional pass keeps you in control. I have used it often. You have 3 pass days. I think it is wise to know how to use it.6 -
Over the pass few years on this healthy life style journey, I have discovered some truths and come to some conclusions. I have written down some of these truths and repeated them to myself.
I hope someone here find them useful...
These are some of the truths I discovered and I tell myself every week and sometimes every day, especially on weekends or parties.
1. It is about my health. This is one thing in this life that nobody can do for me.
2. Nobody can exercise on my behalf.
3. Nobody can keep track of what I eat, bite, lick, drink, etc., on my behalf
4. Nobody can stay within my calorie/micro budget on my behalf
5. Food is my body fuel. Food is made for my body not my body for food. Gasoline is made for cars not cars for gasoline.
6. My body is too precious and too expensive to put any type of fuel. Just like you will put the premium fuel in BMW, Mercedes, etc.
7. Nobody over fuel their expensive cars. Therefore, no overeating and getting sick, guilty etc., the next day for me. (truth I always tell myself on weekends)
8. My goal in life is not to make pharmaceutical companies/ or big food merchants rich at my expense.9
